(i really need to finish more wips of those two, since it was ages, since i drawn them or well, posted them.
but welp, this is my first time drawing jack unmasked as well as drawing bunch of jacks. i've tried to give each of them a bit of personality, but granted, they are super dead after that. flash didn't had a chance to get it rollin' with the whole pumpkin harem. even if tbf, he was mostly shocked to by ambushed by four horny jack looks-likes lol. an' then, the real one showed up. an' he was royally pissed off to see bunch of wannabes clinging to flash.
*you can't blame the other jacks tho. they prob heard that flash have tentacales an' like any other guy with weird interests, they decided to investigate if it's true or not. instead, they met the end of the sickle*
i still kinda love how a bunch of jacks was a thing in canon. it’s so random an’ they weren’t even after any of the symbiotes. just after some dude spidey happened to know. but oh boy, an actual jack wouldn’t take kindly to this. to someone claiming his looks an’ then, trying to claim his man on top of it.
but overall, while drawing this, i was thinking about how the whole mania’s backstory never made sense to me, bc it’s so ooc for jack to send some random dude after flash. jack would literally not do that! not only bc he’s possessive of his villainous looks, but also bc he’s possessive of flash too. agent venom is someone who killed jack’s shitty dad, so for him, it’s personal. an’ this if we don’t take into account other stuff too. like, that jack was relentlessly stalking flash, even when the crime master didn’t give him an order to do so. jack also pretty much proclaimed to be flash’s arch-enemy, so once again … why would he send anyone else after him? this was such a nonsense, even if i kinda find it curious for someone to pretty much be stuck with jack’s sick mind, thinking that these memories an’ thought are their own. that's a very mindfuck-y set up. but that also didn’t make sense, bc jack aren’t the sort of villain, who brainwashes anyone. or control them from afar. like, that whole thing was just so papper thin in terms of plot, i swear.
so in other words, i wanted to ‘fix it’ for myself by picturing what would have happened, if jack had spotted his looks-likes near flash an’ well … yeah. while i didn’t draw any bloody spots, bc i didn’t like how it looked in the second pic, the implication of other jacks *brutally* dying is still there. an’ the fact, that flash prob didn’t try all that hard to save them lol. even if this doesn’t mean, that his real jack still won’t be pissed off an’ basically blame him for everything just bc he can. or most likely bc he assumes, like flash had somehow initiated the whole thing. the second art is also low-key supposed to mirror the first one via pose an’ angle. esp with the idea, that flash has 4, or technically 5 jacks in first art an’ only one in the next. but he holds him, vs where those 4 frauds basically agressivly invade his personal place an' he didn't touch any of them willingly per say.
oh, yeah an' in the first art, one of the jacks taking a picture. hoping that this sick selfie would let them have better jobs in crime world, after everyone see how 'daring' an' bold they are. i also love to imagine, that og jack gets into that photo too as he creeps closer an' closer, an' the moment, the photo is actually snapped is jack attacking them from behind, while they still unaware that he's even there.)
(a second batman x venom crossover. i mean, they just kinda keep having similiar themes all around, an' with two my fav halloween freaks. i cannot just pass this chance, haha.
either way, jon n' jack havin' a swell time as you can see. they're at the bottom of the food chain quite literally. poor twinky ghouls are about to become a dinner in more ways, than one. how unfortunate for them! but what a feast for a nosferatu n' alien parasite. one drinks 🩸, the other love eatin' human 🧠, so it's no biggie that both jon an' jack are scrawny an' undernourished. their predators aren't after their meat or limited fat. they are after more individual body parts an' components.
so yes, this is my halloween 'special' thingy! a conjoined mash-up about big bad predator an' their twangy, evil prey. the sort of dynamic, that both pairs had going on at one point or another. less so 'canically' for scarebat, since that series of comics *where batman was a savage vampire* is technically a separate 'what if' reality. but still, jon n' jack had a very real brush with smth, that is way stronger than them. an' only one made it out alive, but oh well, this is what AUs n' other stuff is for. bc how about no, an' how about some more homoerotic take on those scenes? like, it was 'hot' to me in some ways. esp with words like 'territorial dispute' an' implication of batman givin' scarecrow good ole vampire succ, post morten or not.
i honestly always amazed, when the comics does smth very servicing for my tastes / interests, without actually ever tryin' to pander to people like me. it's prob one of the most 'erotic' things to me as to an author. it's like a possible wink wink to someone, who wants to see it. but generally, just a part of the story. not even a big one, but that's just a tasty bit anyways! i always had a weakness to predator/prey thrope, esp when it's less of fluffy, twinlight kind of romance, but instead a gore-ish sort of deal, where one party can end up actually dying even if by pure accident. it provides some pretty big stakes. not to meantion, that there is always an unspoken paralell between sex n' death in horror genre. including consuming / stabbing / sucking blood an' such. it's important for me as horror movies fan. i like there to be some 'love' in my horror, even if it's not traditional or on the nose. it gives all those exederated gore-y / deadly scenes more meaning, if one wants to impliment it there. an' it just makes for a memorable scene as well.
also while i'm not super into the heroes 'turnin' bad' stuff, in this case, there is an appeal of flash / bruce going feral. it's hard to resist the playful thought about how bruce n' flash find their foe tempting, *iresistably attractive*, but in a different manner now. jack n' jon aren't no rosy maiden, who usually gets the spot of main dish / love interest, but this what makes it even better. jon an' jack are walking ginger bread, an' that's that, really. but tbf, they're kind of weirdos, who would always partly dig it. their handsome, brooding *arch*-enemy wants to eat them an' not some random hussie. that's very scary, an' also sexy lol.
still it's one of those moments in comics, where i wish that they kept the secenes going for a bit longer. just expanded on that suggestive possibility of them taking it step futher. but i also get why they didn't drag it out, cuz it wasn't the point of issue, anyways. just some lil fun moment. tho, i do love how batman *out of his mind or not* seemed to have enough mercy on crane to kill him off relativly quickly compared to the others. the riddler, pen-pen *yeah, i call oswald this* n' ivy had to suffer through the whole overdeal with full awarness, feeling their throats being ripped out, as they were still alive. jon was spared of such fate. the bat came, lectured him, broke his hand an' beheaded him. way quicker vs when you have to feel your meat and blood dripping all over ya. an' in venom's case, i loved how jack was so oddly forgiving of flash nearly decapitating him on the spot lol. flash *at that point* had already ate a fella or two. like bruce, he clearly wasn't proud of those times or enjoyd it, but out of all people, who managed to snap him out of the murder mode, it was jack. but hey, not on my watch! no one will die, but someone will be 'consumed', alright. that's just natural order of things or whatever. an' it's so bc i do make all the rules, haha.
as for more technical side of things, i did altered a few things. mainly with flash n' jack. i made flash's berserk venom form smalles an' all black, bc of well...uh, reasons. and also jack has an actual face here lol. also while at first, i wanted to draw him with his trade-mark messed up features, but kinda end up drawing him all 'dolled up' instead lol. so i suppose, along with all other au-ish elements, his face wasn't blown off in this universe either. an' on somewhat unrelated note, i like how both jack *even some of spiderman's ones* and jonathan are usually shown to be brunette or redhead. my pref will always be with those two being redheads, but still, it's a funny thing to ponder on. another technical bit is that, i wanted both jack n' jon being unable to use their hands / arms in one of the picture, since for me it's like snaring a 'prey' and then, they are kinda useless without it too. jon can land one hell of a kick for sure, but it won't help him to push away the vampire from his neck. also no fear gas to spray from his gloves, even if it would have acomplished nothing. in jack's case, it's similiar situation. he can throw / shoot lil flames from his gloves, the only thing that all symbiotes seem to detaste, besides specific levels of noise. but if he can't do it, and it's too risky to shoot flame from his helmet, welp, he's screwed lol. an' i also wanted to use venom's tongue as bondage tool lol. it was one of those things, that i always loved about venom symbiote / carnage looks an' anatomy, is how 'bendy' their bodies are. an' how creepy they can strech their body parts as well. both, bruce n' flash possess superhuman powers in this, so nor jon nor jack is actually a match for them. but taking away even the last of their defenses is a cherry on the top. jonathan is already always spooked animal, an' with someone as dumbly tunel-visioned as jack, it take a tad more to scare him shitless. esp bc he thinks, that he's such hot shit of a mercenary, haha.
so yups, this year batman n' flash got a treat. jack and' jonathan *in comparison* got tentacles and anemia respectively. can this count as trick? i mean, i guess lol. but on bright side, jonathan is kinda bruce's bf / blood bank in this one, an' jack is....well, he's a bitch. i mean, he touched the toxin, so now flash have to 'mark' him lol.

(so, where to begin? i guess from the simple fact, that i wanted to do smth fun with this clean-cut parallel. at first, i wanted to make some quick edits, but then, i decided what the heck. i might just re-draw it! *or sort of re-draw it anyways*
the shippy stuff is shippy, but really it was hard not to be all like *insert dicaprio pointing meme* when i was reading the venom comic, and flash just pulled a batman on me. beat jack up, n’ then instead of killing him, like he wanted to, he spared him. took him in his arms all gently-like n’ carried his sorry ass into the dawn. like man, it just hit the cords within me! i was all like oohhh, it's like in one of my most fav scarecrow issues! i wasn't expecting this from the comic, even less so from flash, who always had a bit of bipolar resolute, when it came to jack. 'he wanna kill him, he wanna kill him not'. that sort of thing. yet, this moment kind of shown, that he prob will always find a reason to talk himself out of putting him down.
that's aside, another part of why i love those stories, is that both issues felt personal. both, jon n’ jack had personal grudges, both batman and flash were struggling with personal darkness within them. both overcame it, n' literally had to beat up their personal walking-talking nightmare *flash even refers to jack as that later on*. like, it was pretty great, honestly. all that emotional baggage, uncanny kinships with their own twisted mirror, which resulted in them actually feeling sympathy for scarecrow n' jack. giving them a small speech, that they couldn’t hear *bc unconscious*, sort of implying that maybe ‘they’re not beyond help’. it's almost bitter-sweet. even if most people would argue, that both jon n’ jack are way-way too far gone at that point. even if 'solution' sounds too unrealistic to be true. still, if someone like batman believes in you, then maybe, just maybe there is a chance. n’ if someone like flash spares your life, even though, he’s nothing like bruce *he actually killed people before*, then perhaps, there is smth beyond projection, which made him do it.
all 4 characters are very different, n’ thb the context in everyone’s motivations n’ struggles are very different too, but i love how bruce n’ flash came to the same conclusion. took the same route with their respective twinky ghoul. showing mercy is noble, n’ it’s pretty sweet tbh. one of my fav tropes in fiction is when the hero/protagonist shows kindness/empathy toward their villain *who in most cases doesn’t ‘deserve it*. that whole cop out thing about 'evil should be punished by death' in fiction really takes away the romantism n' bendiness of fiction as whole tbh. esp with heroes. they supposed to be able to do 'impossible', including 'forgive the unforgiving'. this is why i prob will always advocate for the ‘no kill’ rule for super-heroes. i mean, it makes you have moments like those. smth that is actually emotional n’ also shows the cracks in heroes themselves, bc usually they can only truly relate to their rogues, someone who is usually designed to be a warped up reflection of hero’s own weaknesses, struggles or traumas. n’ while i always see jack o’lantern as spiderman’s villain *he’s one of oldies, a classic villain after all*, i suppose, that this version of jack was tailored for flash’s venom specifically, n’ i *unexpectedly* i loved it. daddy's issues run deep in this one for both of them. meanwhile, bruce be out there lecturing jon's school bullies, after he nearly killed them. what a man lol.

i didn’t include the first bit in my lil art thingy above, but i love how not only the venom mirrors batman in actions, but also how they’re even facing opposite sides, playing around with nearly opposite color pallets in each fight too. caters to the mood, but also it just looks nice side by side tbh. the blue/black/grey for batman, and orange/dark brown/yellow for venom. a dark knight / soldier n' maskless halloween villain. this prob the only point, where they connect narratively n' thematically, but it's a major one.
anyho', i didn't had a hardcore goal to re-draw those scenes to a t, just make it recognizable for the most part. but it was fun! also gave me an execuse to stare at those comic panels some more.
as for the song, it popped out inside my head kinda randomly. but it fits them, i think. even the tune itself adds to it. somewhat sad n’ slow. but the meaning of it, not fully hopeless. at least, they will always have someone there for them. after all, guys like jon n’ jack will always come back, seeking ‘their hero’, hungry for punishment or other things. n’ for someone as crippled as bruce or flash, it might not be the worst thing, really. usually, the hero is stuck in the same miserable 'unchanging', unwinnable situation as their villains are. be it outside forces, fate or sickness, that keeps them bond. it's still better to try and make the best of it, right?)

it was an embarrassingly long time, since i wrote proper porn, but oh well, i couldn’t not do this here. i generally shocked, that those two don’t have even one fic to their name. but idk, be a change that you want to see, i guess?

but here goes part 2.
1). jack is slightly younger than flash. we never got their actual age spelled out in the comics, but judging by the looks alone, i imagine, that flash is around 27-28, which would make jack be around 23-24.
2). to flash’s surprise, jack can draw fairly well. he also likes sketching some dumb little comics from time to time. oftentimes about some weird scenarios, his dreams an’ also about himself an’ flash. or just flash *those tend to be offensive lol* but he also prob drawn like hella cool arts, where flash is all heroic an’ buff an’ all that *he’s totally draw himself some porn of him too lol* meanwhile, flash can draw only stick figures.
3). jack has many different, mostly belittling nicknames for flash. but he also uses some endearments for him too, which once again might be mistaken as him being sarcastic. but i imagine that he would call flash ‘o beloved’ in public at some point, an’ flash would pretty much passively-aggressively return the nickname right back at him.
4). it’s canon that flash was inspired by spider-man an’ that’s why he even began wanting to better himself on main. he also has a soft spot for troubled kids an’ teens bc they remind him of himself when he was younger. i guess, it will take him a while to realize that jack is kinda the exact same way. that he’s too a troubled boy, who never got a chance for help. in general, i think that once flash stop being emotionally avoidant, he will see a lot of similarities between him an’ jack. i mean, he began doing this toward the end of remender’s ran, anyways. but later on, this will get ‘worse’, as he will feel responsible for jack. even in part, bc he indirectly killed his shitty foster dad, so now, jack has no one to even pretend that they care about him. meanwhile, jack always thought that he can sorta relate to flash, even if he would deny that his own father was a piece of shit too, an’ in some ways even more malicious than flash’s own.
5). flash is good with any sort of gun. be it pistol, AKM or shotgun. he’s literally averse to any kind of firearm. jack in comparison hates guns an’ always prefers to use sickle, knifes an’ other sharp objects. according to him ‘that feels more satisfying’. an’ it’s despite that jack is a fairly good shot too.
6). flash has venom’s healing factor, but he still have his old scars *along with missing legs* some of them he got when he young an’ did dumb stuff. a few is smth that his father gave him. jack is curious about each of them, aching to leave a scar on flash too.
7). jack can’t cook. at all. the max that he can do is to boil instant noodles. he was never taught how to do those things, as the crime master preferred to keep him as dependent on him as possible. compared to jack, flash is a master chief lol. jack kinda likes when eugene makes home cooking meals, no matter how simple. he will gift him an apron which would have ‘i know how to deliver a touchdown’. but honestly, flash cocks so well, that he will make jack eat a broccoli an’ not even the crime master could force jack eat veggies. *this is kinda ties back to jack's awful diet thingy*
8). flash an’ jack fav video game is resident evil *biohazard* no real reason here. i just feel like they would enjoy it. esp bc it was one of the first games, which incorporated story + shooter elements. flash would be surprised how much their taste in those things would match. an’ that they play the old version an’ loved it since childhood.
9). flash an’ jack listen to very different types of music, but they both like nu-metal, surprisingly enough. another topic for them to chit-chat about.
10). all of jack’s legal documents were destroyed by the crime master, so whoever he was before, that person is certainly dead an’ non-existed to the world. once jack goes to prison, however, they can’t just label him as ‘jack’ or jack o’lantern, mostly bc too many villains had this name before him. so he registered in their database as jack brant *the crime master’s surname* which would make flash feel a tad weird. since it technically would be a second person from brant family tree that he dates, even if jack isn’t actually related to bennett. i just think it's kinda hilarious for flash to date another brant. even if he’s an’ jack’s relationships run way deeper, than a fling or actual might-be-forevers. this is forever.
11). flash got to hang out with a lot of other superheroes an’ fought other villains as well. jack, on other hand, was fairly sheltered from such encounters, so when the crime master dies an’ he finds himself on his own, not sure how to actually do anything without instructions, as result he cross paths of many other villains an’ antiheroes having no idea how to handle such situations on his own. in other words, i feel like flash will have to go around the city saving his ass both from guys like the punisher an’ the other villains. this would eventually leads to some of flash’s older friends / ex teammates giving him side-glances, since it is weird how fixated he is on saving some serial killer’s life. even tho, spidey would have done the same. but i guess, in comparison to more straightforward heroics, flash used to just shot people dead, an’ kill murders, so for some of them the change might be jarring. esp bc flash will still shot some people in the head, but never jack.
12). jack doesn’t have the best health. not only bc of his constant drug / alcohol abuse, but also bc he’s often exposed to chemicals *when he mixes his bombs or does smth of similar nature* he’s also has food allergies, but even knowing this, he clearly doesn’t care about having a healthy diet. flash is the first person to ever take notice of his condition, an’ actually trying to seduce him into eating better foods, which can be good for him. jack doesn’t actively acknowledges it, partially bc he doesn’t really understands when he’s being really cared about an’ when the person *the crime master* simply tells him that he does.
13). an’ speaking of health an’ related topics, i hc that jack has schizophrenia, which naturally leads to a lot of difficulties. both for him an’ for others. flash has his own list of issues. tho most of them steam from ptsd an’ general unpacked past trauma from past abuse, that he suffered under the hands of his father. neither of them really talk about it, an' jack's perception of his own mental state is rather deplorable as he doesn't view it as smth that he can change *i mean, yeah, he can't* an' while he bears a lot of resentment for all the times, when his actual parents dragged him to various doctors, he does recognize that they might have had his best intentions in mind. still, it doesn't motivates him to try an' do anything about it.
14). jack main occupation besides being an assassin *even tho, he’s mostly a very skilled serial killer tbh* is that he’s a tech guy. all of his gear was made by him, including his little devil dolls. an’ since he also knows a bit of chemistry, i imagine, that eventually he will try to make specific kinds of traps, based specifically on what he knows about flash’s symbiote abilities. mostly trying to contain it an’ see if he can restrain the thing. eventually, it will turn into almost scientific interest for him. much to flash’s annoyance an’ horror.
15). while there a few different designs for flash an’ jack, both inside the comics an’ outside of it *for flash* i do hc that flash is a real blond an’ jack is redhead with freckled face. he hates that last bit, bc he feels that it makes him look childish. an’ he’s generally not a handsome fella per say, but kinda cute in a somewhat boyish way. even if his thin facial structure does make him look a tad older, than he really is. with this being said, i don’t mind sand-blond flash or brunette jack, either. but i do feel like it fits them better, when they fall into a ‘stereotype’. a horror themed one for flash, cuz a lot of jocks who get killed by old slasher movies were indeed blonds. an’ for jack, it’s more so that he’d fall into the 90s cartoon era, where a lot of comic villains were turned into gingers vs brunettes. i also can see jack dye his hair when his face gets disfigured. all while these small shaved hair on his chin staying pepper-red, pretty much betraying his natural hair color.
16). while venom symbiote gets mostly used to jack being flash’s 'mate', it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t want to eat him. in fact, i think, that it really likes jack’s blood an’ low-key' wished that they could eat his brain an’ prob the rest of him too. flash is utterly disturbed by those desires, since sometimes, he’s almost tricked into thinking, that he shares them. jack have no idea about any of it. he just assumes that venom symbiote prob wants to kill him, an’ it’s not even personal thing per say. it’s just what the thing does.
17). like any other obsessive, stalker villain, jack loves stealing flash’s stuff. be it his shirt, his gun or some photo, that he pulled out from a family album. he has a lil flash shrine of kinds. flash isn’t shocked by it, since well … it’s to be expected that jack will be weird about him. but i imagine this still gave him a pause, when he saw it for the first time. jack refusal to explain it, didn’t help much, either.
18). jack knows how to drive, but he’s fairly horrible at it. this would surprise flash, who expected a guy, who literally flies around on a broomstick to know how to drive a car. but nope. jack can make a damn plane land, but cars are just … too complicated an’ strange for his brain.
19). flash doesn’t have a lot of things from his old family house, mostly bc he doesn’t really want to remember much of that time. he prob saved a few of his old spidey posters an’ smth from his highschool years, but that’s about it. in comparison, jack for oblivious reasons doesn’t have anything from his parental house at all. the only thing close to this, that he possesses is a plushy ghost named ‘boo’. a toy, that the crime master gave him all those years back as a first ever gift for his ‘new son’. an' jack loves that thing. dearly. even tho it looks like it went through five war zones, it’s jack comfort object. he would get absolutely enraged, if someone would try to damage the toy or take it away from him. the crime master tried to dispose of it, but after a hissy fit of galaxy proportions, he gave up. jack is very protective of the plushy. an’ only seemingly willing to show it to flash after some time. mostly after their relationships take a rather romantic turn. i also imagine, that he might lend plushy to flash for ‘safe keeping’, when he’d be off to do some risky mercenary business overseas or smth like that. an' in AUs, where jack seemingly disappears *prob dies* this is one of very few things of his that flash still have.
i think, this shall be enough for now. esp since some other hcs, that i have deal with some specific timelines, like when jack was seemingly ‘rehabilitated’. an’ then, there are a couple that deal with how things went down, after he actually canonically died an’ became a demon.
also, i’m so deeply sorry for the waiting! the work kinda kicked my ass there for a bit. an’ admittingly, my english gets so much worse, when i’m tired an’ my brain just refuses to tie up words correctly. as a lil sorry token, i’ll share one of a flashjack sketches i was working on. i was always curious about how flash would have reacted to ‘reformed’ jack, who would instantly bounce back into the crime as soon as he sees flash, an’ his brain gets rewired back into total, obsessive mess.

i can’t help, but feel like until agent venom gets a video game or an animated show, they prob will stay one of the rarest ships of them all lol. most people don’t seem to be interested in reading comics these days. not to mention, that agent venom always gets overshadowed by endless adventures of eddie brock, it seems. the least they could do is to set him on fire more often lol.
but back to the main topic! i do have quite a few HCs for flash an’ jack! some of them based on specific timelines / AU-ish situation, but i’ll list the most ‘universal’ ones. i will start with SFW headcanons first, an’ then we’ll get to how i think they would be doin’ the dirty.
1). it’s a commonly known fact, that jack can’t read the room an’ have boneless tongue. he’s often seen saying very ill-fitted or downright rude things not only to strangers, but to some degree even to the crime master *the implications that he thought, that his pops ‘gone silly’ an’ then, that he was high when he told jack about hiring the living computer lol* an’ i don’t think, that he always does this on purpose. in fact, he prob has very little control over what comes out of his mouth sometimes. it’s just how his brain works. there isn’t ‘right’ thing for him to say, so he just says whatever floats his boat at the moment. an’ i imagine, it will take flash a long while to realize, that it’s not just jack being an asshole all the time, *even if he is an asshole* but it’s partially a symptom of his illness as well. there will be some stuff that an adult person would normally feel embarrassed to shout out in an argument or generally say out loud, but jack wouldn’t lol. with time, flash will grow somewhat fond of this trait of his, *esp bc some of the shit that he says is unironically funny* even if it still would remain somewhat infuriating at the same time.
2). flash is into sports. i mean, his venom costume literally has bits an’ pieces, which are reminiscent of the uniform he wore, when he attended high school football team. in comparison, jack knows nothing about sports, an’ doesn’t seem to care about it. so each time, when flash will tell him smth about it or draw some analogy with this or that, jack would be at complete loss what he is even talking about, but he will pretend, like he understands. mostly to not look stupid, but also bc he likes how enthusiastic flash looks, when he talks about sports.
3). jack is canonically established as someone who killed small animals as a child, so it goes without saying that he wouldn't make a great pet owner. like, you wouldn't wanna him to hold a puppy or a baby, bc he would eventually squeeze them too tight an' y'know what. but i imagine, that at some point he will get himself a pet tarantula an’ call it eugene. just for the kicks of it. esp bc it's funny to tell himself that he own eugene now lol. jack will grow to be surprisingly fond of the creepy thing too. sure, it’s kinda useless, but it looks cool! this will also be the only pet he ever had or was close to, which survives his attention.
4). while it was mostly implied, i have an impression like jack is smth of a movie geek. at least, he seems to bring up the topic quite a few times, an’ flash literally quoted some movie stuff before as well. an’ i think, that sometimes they will be kinda quoting things from the same movie to one another, like one would role-play a scene. an’ it usually would happen in the middle of not-all-that-serious-fight. like when there isn't much on the line, an' flash isn't actually angry with jack. in those rare times, it’s more like a mean, rough play of sorts. smth that they will eventually find another one indulging in, after they’d be enemies for idk, 2-3 years or so. i mean, spidey does have all kinds of banter with his rogues, so flash can actually try an’ have smth like that with his own enemy too. they just get into it a bit too much sometimes. i’m your boyfriend now, nancy lol
5). there are many ways to show affection, but none of them are very good at it. flash will struggle with this more than jack tho, bc jack can be creative an’ pretty much outright confess his love, but in a way, where it still might be written off as jeer or just him fooling around. stuff, like reading a lil poem about love. or teasing flash about all those cute vows the lovers give to one another, an’ then, as if to demonstrate his poin, give one of those to flash. like, hey isn't this sappy an' lame, ima right? whatever jack says, would still remain a ‘safe bet’, bc flash most likely won’t believe him anyways, which also means that he cannot reject him, either. *besides, jack is incapable of simply stating smth like that, even to save his own life* it will take flash forever to realize how genuine some, if not all of those things were. an’ even longer to learn how to say it back.
6). now, this is also a canon in some way, but flash jack’s only other ‘big’ relationships, aside from the crime master. flash is jack’s arch-enemy *i love how jack just decided that by himself*, sorta-kinda his first ever friend *when they went to vegas, jack sure acted like he assumed this to some degree* an’ then when they will begin sleeping with one another, inside jack’s head it would mean that flash is his boyfriend now too. which is both thrilling an' confusing for him. he never had one before! so jack might *at first* try to see how people normally act, when they’re in relationships an’ attempt to awkwardly copy it, much to flash’s bafflement. it will get old fast, since jack cannot act normal for too long, but to his relief, it doesn’t seem like flash expect him to do ‘typical’ lovey-dovey stuff with him. even tho, he prob will still kinda accept jack’s creepy an’ low-key demented gifs. a very cool bird skull. or nice, advanced gun, which jack most likely pawed off the corpse could still be tokens of love. alas, disturbing one.
7). flash openly hates jack’s little devil dolls, an’ they act malicious toward him back. but when jack doesn’t actively order them to attack his nemesis-lover, they seem to actually kinda like thompson in the exact same mean manner their creator does. tho, oddly enough, they pretty much seem to hate the crime master, an’ spit tiny flames at him every chance they get. despite this, jack refuses to change their settings. he like them being little menaces, an’ he only ever truly keeps them loyal to himself an’ no one else.
8). the crime master an’ flash have creepily similar masks. both in color an’ shape. at times, when jack have smth of a mental relapse an’ seem to be unsure about his surroundings *or even who the hell he is*, he would be prone to confuse flash with the crime master. the whole experience would always be deeply unsettling an’ uncomfortable for flash, esp since he might learn some things about jack's an’ bennett’s relationships he didn’t want to know about. this subject would forever remain as smth, flash can’t help, but avoid due to disturbing nature of possible rabbit hole, it contains. yet, for jack seeing this mask is comforting in those moments. bc surely daddy-o would tell him what to do an’ where he is. these moment would remind flash about how jack not only a deranged serial killer, but that he’s also can be strangely fragile too. fairly easy to manipulate if one would have wished to, since jack is conditioned to be like that. so flash would try to slowly remove the crime master from the picture fully. bit by bit. first with words, then with trying to show his actual face. which jack might also keep confusing with his father's, bc the crime master is also blond. an' this naturally is even worse, during the timelines, when the crime master is dead, an' yet, jack seems to be missing his abuser still. it'll be hard to stomach for flash. esp bc jack never seem to remember those episodes. like at all. but then again, flash is also never eager to bring it up, either.
9). jack has a very specific scent. a mixture between ozone, gasoline, dry blood an’ leather. flash would know this smell anywhere. meanwhile, jack can’t smell much of anything, bc well, in some versions, he misses half of his face lol. he knows the brand of shampoo flash uses tho an’ this kinda the main smell he associates with him. he could call it 'super mainly jock shampoo'.
10). flash has nightmares about his father at times, an’ it’s the only thing jack typically doesn’t bully him for. well, not really. flash finds it strange, but he never asks what an’ if jack also has nightmares from his own childhood, so that's why he's somewhat 'nice' about it. but whatever the reason is, this the one of few times, when jack actually attempts to comfort him. kinda lull him back into sleep. jack knows a thing or two about keeping a monster away, considering that he's one himself. he can't quite do what berkhart did for spidey an' sorta put him into nice dream via toxins. but he can try to stay awake long enough, till he's sure that flash's sleep seem to be undisturbed by anything too nasty.
11). ironically enough, out of the two, flash is more inclined toward jealousy an’ possessiveness. while jack naturally also exhibits both of those things too, sometimes flash manages to be more intense about it. an’ while some of it can be mistaken for ‘saviour complex’, i imagine, that vemon part of flash’s mind is what makes him more driven to ‘mark his territory’, as symbiote sees jack as smth of a ‘mate’ of his host. jack is partially oblivious to all of this. i guess, bc he thinks that flash is already almost constantly agro all the time lol.
12). now, let’s step into a bit darker territory, shall we? as we know, jack was raised as a nihilist by the crime master, since he wanted jack to not see any meaning or value in anything *besides the crime master himself* as result, jack doesn’t care about the life of others, but he also doesn’t seem to care all that much about his own life, either. flash is a living contrast to this ideology, even in how he tries to go against what his own father ‘taught’ him. an’ i think, that sometimes it really gets under jack’s skin. an’ it also makes him kind of afraid, that one day eugene would 'get better', leave him an’ find someone, who isn’t broken like jack is. there is no hope for him. not really. *everyone told him so* therefore, jack might eventually decide, that if he can’t possibly keep flash with him by any typical means, he might try to provoke him enough into killing him one day. then surely flash be thinking about him an’ feeling bad an’ stuff, right? this would mean, that jack did have value to flash in some weird way. this would make perfect sence to him. since i don’t think, that jack can picture a world where flash would really care about him. an’ in a way, i think that’s the main ‘tragedy’ of their pair. jack doesn’t try to hide what he is, but it’s also gives him a rather painful sense of self-awareness, that flash also sees him as someone who is beyond help. an’ inside his head it doesn’t mean anything long-term or good. which is incorrect, bc flash does get hang up on him later on, an’ pretty much seem to be ready to die on a hill, that says ‘jack o' lantern is beyond hope, and there is no way to save him. but i’ll try anyway’.
13). jack is manipulative by nature. he learned this skill mostly via living with his captor for the majority of his life. one have to be very sensitive to the moods of someone, who holds their life within their palm. thanks to this skill, jack at times knows what flash feels way better than flash himself. he oddly enough understands some parts of his nature, which flash doesn’t want to acknowledge. jack, on other hand, is harder to read, when it comes to really serious things. he often deflects it with a wisecracking comment or a joke or an insult. flash will eventually find out that the only way to get the truth out of him is to unbalance him. an’ it doesn’t always have to be smth drastic. i imagine, that if he out of blue compliments him, jack would have a long pause, bc this isn’t how they usually interact. an’ unpredictable eugene is kinda scary in his eyes. not to meantion, that jack is a very childish person, so once someone understand how he ticks, it might become easier to understand what he feels. what he really feels. flash doesn't have all that much of emotional intelligence, but he will attempt to navigate the scary an' deplorable place, which is jack's sick little brain. the pumpkin guy have surpising amount of depth, if one would care to find it.
14). kissing would be the last thing on flash’s agenda, since he feels like it establishes boundaries of some sort. to flash, it feels like him shoving his dick inside jack is somehow less intimate, than them locking lips. or well, him locking lips with jack’s mouth, when there are just bare teeth lol. but it’s one of those few things, which jack actually follows. this lil rule. he does steal a lil peck on the cheek or jaw, but he doesn’t try to kiss flash on the lips. so when flash eventually breaks this rule himself, jack is confused. when he tries to ask why, flash pretty much will tell him, that if he keeps pestering him about it, they stop doing this. so jack stops asking, settling for just being kissed, than knowing the reasoning behind it. but oh, flash is slowly falling, haha.

1). this is a very old hc of mine. the one i had for a long while, but i hc that flash is pretty much closeted case, an’ jack is the first an’ pretty much the only guy, he ever went full way with. an’ it’s both arousing an’ scary for him. for one, flash doesn’t truly know what he’s doing, since jack isn’t a girl. but he also really wants to do stuff. the sort, he'd secretly jerked off to, when he was younger. but back then, it was an imagery of some non-existing guy. an' now, he has a real one underneath him. i imagine, this would be very self-exploring for him. an’ jack doesn’t outright says it, but he finds it cute an’ also a bit funny, bc sometimes flash handles him roughly an’ other times, he seems to be unsure what to do with him. jack likes to be his first man though. an’ he will make sure to be the only one too *on side note, jack himself is pretty much a mudersexual lol. he only cares about killing, an’ eugene is the only person who he’s interested to have sex / relationships with. as anyone else who he slept with, usually end up dead*
2). jack dislikes when flash uses the venom tentacles an’ other things on him in sexual way, even if it is enjoyable. he isn't against all the new kinky spice it bring. instead, jack cannot fully see venom as part of flash. when it touches him, inside jack's head it's not flash, but some creepy space monster pawing at him, instead. but he will eventually warm up to the idea. mostly bc where else can he get so much extra sensations? besides venom can shapeshift, so y’know uh, endless possibilities below the belt too. an' i assume that with time, he would grasp the idea, that when flash makes his tentacles touch him, it's him who commands it. so it is kinda a part of his body *even if it's also not* so after that, he would be way more open to the idea of flash doing more with those features.
3). now, a bit darker stuff. flash isn’t a masochist. but jack is good with knives an’ sickles an’ other sharp objects. not to mention, that venom suit can easily heal flash. even the deepest cut might not scar or truly harm him. an' isn't this smth? i think, they can get very weird an' freaky with this concept. esp bc jack is into gore an’ blood an’ generally, he’s a serial killer. for him to have a hot victim, who also won’t die if he cut them too many times, an' who can heal even the deadliest of wounds...this surely will give him a boner. besides, this is also a tad about trust too. like, how far can flash take it, without fearing that jack will cross the line or get too into it? even tho, in some ways, it mirrors jack's situation as well. bc if symbiote will go berserk, it can easily murder him *even on accident* or eat his insides out. such an interesting balance between 'trusting just enough' an' potential death.
4). this is also smth that have to do with canon, but jack’s suit looks skin-tight, so i don’t think that there is any place for underwear underneath it. once, jack mentions this to flash as a gross joke, even tho, it’s true. an’ after that, flash can’t help, but think about it, each time they see one another. it’s esp distracting if they’re fighting. an' jack kinda show off his assests, an' flash knows there is nothing underneath that suit.
5). jack is a loud mouthed individual. an' he’s the exact same way, when he an’ flash bang. he doesn’t seem to have much of shame at all, which is both arousing an’ kinda baffling. flash tries to make as little noises as possible, so jack tries his best to force it out of him. gasp. curse. anything. an' he's sucessful most of the times. jack also have a dirty mouth on him too, so there is this too.
6). this next hc is kinda unsuaul for me, since i always have fixated dynamic in my ships. in other words, i only envision the top!flash x bottom!jack setups, but i can see jack topping just once, an’ only bc he learns that eugene never slept with another guy like that. basically, flash never took it up the ass. which would make jack thrilled with the idea, that he can be the one who will pop that cherry. flash would refuse him each time, until eventually he would agree to do it just once, so that jack shut up about it. an’ they do it like that, but yeah only once. since jack likes being the one on the receiving end, an’ flash doesn’t want anything inside his butt. but he will have to live with the knowlege that jack took his anal virginity lol.
7). an’ speaking of topping an’ whatnot, while jack is a bottom, sometimes he can act as a power bottom. he’s a bully at the end of the day an’ sometimes flash makes it super easy to push him around, an’ to tease him. this also would often results in jack low-key humiliating an’ berating eugene, seemingly gaslighting him into doing some things. but flash does take secret pleasure in it. always hungry to be punished, since he hates himself. also there is smth weird an' hot about some ghoul twink bossing him around just bc he knows that he can.
8). they both say some hilarious, weird shit during sex sometimes. starting from the way jack might at times describe or demand smth from flash. an’ ending up with flash blurting out the cringy classic like ‘who is your daddy now’ since jack is daddy’s homicidal trashy boy. jack will laugh his ass off after that an’ flash will feel the amount of shame, he will take to his grave. but that's just how they are. also i think that memes like 'daddy pass the salt' an' 'your son calls me daddy too' would be appropriate, if the crime master would learn about this.
9). flash won’t admit it like 100 other things, but the way jack says his name, when they have sex is the one of the kind. really makes his stomach do a flip. there is always gotta be a difference between, when someone says one’s name, because they make them feel good. an’ when someone who says it because they are obsessed with the fact that it’s that specific person who does that. flash will learn that difference fairly quickly.
10). jack has a surprising amount of stamina, mostly thanks to all the drugs he’s juiced up on. flash matches it with his own. even overcomes it. as result, they don’t know their own limits too well, esp when they will keep challenging one another on who can ‘last the longest’ or cum the latest. they’d be very bad at quickies lol. an' also end up feeling hella sore, after they will overdo it just bc they're too horny to think properly.
11). their relationships in general usually start as smth sexual. like, they’d be banging before they will be feeling big feelings. or rather, they always have those big feelings, but they'd rather try an’ focus on having sex, bc it’s easier than trying to understand what caused them to do it to begin with. jack typically is the one, who makes an offer / starts this relationships as well. an’ the way he offers it is usually sounds casual enough, like he’s just wanna fuck *i mean he is* but eventually it becomes a thing they just keep doing. flash's feelings on the matter would shift an' change the most. bc jack gets obsessed with him fairly early on.
12). once again, a bit darker hc, but i think that jack kinda likes that flash doesn’t have legs. in a very weird, serial killer-ish way. it makes him more ‘cuddly’ for him an’ also he cannot run. flash is admittingly creeped out by it at first, but in scenarios where jack doesn’t have a face *i mean, he got it back at some point*, this is like ‘yeah, well, you also kiss and face-fuck that, so y’know’. it’s not a kink thing even per say, just them finding new ways to enjoy each other features, that most people would have found off-putting or troubling. but jack is also creepy about it, bc of course, he would be. this can also be considered as a bit of another roleplay for them. like that flash can technically always re-grow legs back via venom. but they can pretend like he can't. there is a lot of psychological things involved in this, but flash might try this as another 'punishment' for himself. but then, find that he can enjoy this, if jack wouldn't push it into uncomfortable territory way too often. comfort with your own body is a tricky things. an' neither of them seem to be good with this on their own. they can try to 'fix' it together. well, kinda.
13). flash has a latent praise kink, even if he feels very ashamed about it. jack indulges him tho. but only when he’s in the mood for it. in return, flash might praise him too, but it will always make jack squirm a bit. he's not used to compliments. esp sexual ones.
14). jack has an oral fixation, which is both odd an’ hot, depending on the situation. but flash never seen another person who would have been that enthusiastic about sucking his dick.
i have some other hcs, but some of them are more specific to a certain set up or more focused on jack himself, rather than on him an’ flash. but welp, as per usual, i’m glad to be asked about them. feels very rewarding to share some of my thots on them, finally.
