I got a #flatbear commision! #hisakoichiki aka Armor from the x-men, but styled in the Cherno #Jeager from #pacificrim . I love this so much. Nicki did an amazing job! Also tagging @jakewyattriot who came up with the ArmorAsMecha theme.
Shout out to @flatbear for the well-executed commission. The piece was reasonably priced, and I found Ms. flatbear very easy to work with, and she did a great job of incorporating my ideas into the final piece. @fostertheory really liked the piece (bonus!). HAHA <3 Ironically when I created him I was thinking of millennial stereotypes (you’ll probably see it more after this first arc) but my thought process was he’s older so 35 and on the cusp of that in between generation so a lot of his best features and flaws come from that. I wanted him to be someone who didn’t want to grow up but had to in his own way, especially after getting the triplets. He also has mixed feelings about family life b/c he didn’t get along with his parents and oh my gosh I just want to go into his whole back story. He loves his kids and will do anything for them to make sure they have a happy life even if he has to give up a lot for it. He kind of sees it as his duty to his sister and her husband to make sure that the triplets grow up happy (it’s not always perfect but they try). I DONT KNOW IF THIS ANSWERS ANYTHING IM SORRY IM TRYING NOT TO WRITE YOU LIKE 100K ON ROGER HARE AND WHY YOU SHOULD LOVE HIM AND HIS DEVOTION TO HIS SELF MADE FAMILY AND FRIENDS
