     Tears stream between his soft pursed lips. So many so that when he screams himself awake, some caught in his throat. He coughs, shifting onto hands and knees in bed. The tears haven’t stopped. They never do. He needs to get a grip on reality fast, or things could go very bad.   He silently prays no one heard, but also prays in protest to that prayer.

favorite toad headcannons? Todd needs glasses but good luck getting him to the eye doctor. Even if you manage that, then it is getting him to wear them. Tibby on the other hand is fond of her glasses. Todd enjoys watching it rain but also likes watching the snow fall. Mortimer loves snuggling up to something, be it a pillow, a stuffed toy, or a person, as he sleeps. Around Christmas time Mortimer likes to walk about and check out all the lights and yard decorations or store displays.

Martin felt his fists clench and his eyes closed. He hated seeing Rachel like this. Her nightmares. What they did to her was inexcusable. When he opened his eyes again, he could only see her. “They will pay for this,” he growled in a stuttering tone, oozing with repressed rage.

@fledgling-phoenix-ray Kurt was hanging somewhere on the edge of sleep. It was tempting to sleep but with Rachel warm and breathing at his side, he kept himself conscious enough to appreciate how sweet it was. In the distance the tv was still flashing colors that looked a little bit like one of the latest Disney movies. They'd started off having movie night but with cuddling and blankets soon it was hard to stay awake.
