We are in a rabbit hole, or better, in a Bunnelby hole. This is what happens when you start thinking about the superheroes mentioned in-lore by Pokèmon (X&Y related in particular), then about making designs for a Batman&Robin duo spoof for fun, but Kalos style, and then you start digging into old French superheroes to homage them in the designs but you find out about the Nyctalope and suddenly the theorist corkboard is out for Z-A...!
Anyway. Nyctalope is a vigilante wearing a Noivern-reminiscent costume, both as a reference to Batman and the literary homonym Nyctalope from the series of novels by Jean de La Hire, and several tech enhancements that interact with the human senses; Fletchlingars (Fletchling, the robin Pokèmon + gars, a colloquial term for "boy" in French) is their sidekick that should really stay at home since he's a kid, but he wants bloodshed.
