What you see here is what I call a flex. A flex is a shape whereby the body is static and is enjoying building strength and stability directly from the freeze frame shape that is being flexed. Make sense? I call this shape the pretzel- essentially it is a cross legged flex mixing in a twist of the hips. With the #flex_inthe_city sessions we learn shapes like this and experiment with how we can mix them up using the urban furniture in our streetscapes. The next Flex In the City session is happening on Saturday September 6th from 1:30-3pm. It will take place in London Town. Location TBC. Expect a completely different type of workout aswell as with a whole lot of laughs. You may also begin to view the city you live within in a whole new way!
