Gardening update!
Our neighbors used to have this massive brittle tree that would smack against our roof during hurricanes, and they finally had it cut down! (It should never have been planted here, a previous resident put it in without checking the species.)
My plants are loving all the extra sunlight! I do need to trim back this overhanging palm some, though.
We also pulled out the (invasive) jasmine that was all over our end of the fence, which looked pretty nasty - so I spent half of Saturday scrubbing it clean, then on Sunday applied a nice new coat of paint.
My first tomato(es) of the season! Need to trim some of those suckers...
Blackberries are coming in nicely after a good trim.
ROSESSSSSS!! We stopped at the local nursery that I got my Don Juan and Louis Philippe from, and they had an absolutely HUGE selection. Mom picked up this lovely Double Delight:
I got a Fragrant Cloud - the blooms are a gorgeous orange-y red. Both are Hybrid Tea and smell amazing.
Repotted my smaller tomato and pepper babbies
Also picked up a gorgeous Dahlia from the nursery!
