  The wizard hummed in thought, gazing upon the rows and rows of books among the selves, illuminated only by candlelight. Merlin wasn’t .. entirely sure what he was looking for, if he was being honest- surely, he’d know it when he saw it. Right?

  Regardless, he wouldn’t get much of the chance to even reach for a random volume when the door creaked open and the green little monster stood in his spot, still staring up in thought for a moment before looking over- an annoyed expression briefly crossing his features before they softened at the others face, more curious now.   Though the shortness of his stupid stumpy body was annoying him a fair bit more.

“ It’s late, isn’t it? Having trouble sleeping? ”

      it had been a long night of creating the storms that the land of equestria needed, and as she walked into the home, she gave a smile when she saw that pinkie was sleeping. quietly trotting over to the bed, the rainbow pegasus climbed into the softness and laid next to the earth pony, smile still evident on her snout. 

      she could get use to this.
