Another thing: imagine that everytime you kiss a monster with wings, their wings do small excited flaps.
I have seen some other creators think about this too! Personally I hope so, and I also hope it's really funny, like people falling in love in the frozen food aisle at a grocery store! Like we write about the things we think is the usual for monsters viewed through a romantic lens
Man I hope it's like the same, taking a look at normal human-isms it would be so good, so wholesome, so funny.
Like chatting at a bus stop, or falling head over heels for the new co-worker, or "Heeeeey it's me you're friendly multi-tentacled plumber here to fix your pipes! : D" Ahahahaaa!!!
Or for aliens, Oh noooooo Mx. Scientist don't use that on meee <3<3<3
Just outrageously wrong, and getting into debate fights with the other creatures about the plausibility of x scenario. XD

Oh jeeze, the poor creatures who are friends with humans just sit there and sweat like. "I... this is so glaringly wrong but it's fiction... I'm just going to let my roomie write their fan fiction in peace... I may tell Tony about the human head cannons though, he's going to laugh until he cries."
Or humans are like mythical cryptids in that world like this one? Who knows! Speculation is fun. : 3

I think you are talking about my cupid scorpion!! I had a design originally made a few years back and then I played with it a bit more! I wanted to make more creatures that were less humanoid! I do not have much lore on them at the moment! They kind of popped in and out of my head!
It's funny when characters do that! Some stick around and chatter at me, others pose and preen long enough for me to draw art and maybe write a story before they shuffle off on a new adventure. It's interesting to see who sticks around or comes back again!
I hope they do and tell me more of their secrets! I had fun drawing them : D

Scary x _ too! I also really like when a big scary had a soft spot for someone! The whole, "This one, this one I like, I will throw anyone into the dumpster for making them cry." Can range from a grumpy scary character, to oh stars above it's an eldritch horror that touched down on Earth. Yanno... for the funsies c:
One pairing side I really love to write for is an anxious goofball character x just about anything XD
There's a lot of good combos and I feel like there just needs to be more silly protagonists who crack bad jokes and are just a weebly thing trying to live life and don't know how to people right! Let's be honest, does anyone people right?? Does someone have the peopling manuel? I'd love to have a copy!
Anxious Goof x Calm and Collected, a very "He makes me laugh" Rodger Rabbit kind of trope XD The more cool / glamourous calm and collected is, usually the more fun ahahaha ( Luxe falls here in the glamerous category for suuuuuure, Nicky too and hmm.. Sunder! )
Anxious Goof vs Non-Anxious Goof: The goof off, let it commence! It can range from swapping bad jokes and being silly together, to the Non-Anxious Goof being an absolute TOON while their romanctic interest just sits there like *awkward concerned laugh "Ha, ha... No more coffee for you... Ever" ( H... Hex? I've never really introduced Hex here, or wrote for him but I think Hex, Teddy, Lou and Zelle fit here! XD )
Anxious Goof vs A Threat: Going from the whole cat and mouse sceneario to "Oh no, I've gotten attatched to this little tap dancing weirdo... Welp." *picks them up "Eh it was always mine anyway" SJDJSKDKSKS WHEEEEEEZE ( Deimos... and V1C3 hah!)
Naive Anxious Goof vs A Smooth Sweet Talker ( Pervert ) There's something that absolutely sends me when there's a character who is quite obviously flirting with someone and the person either A. Does not get the hint or B. Treats it like dodgeball and furiously tap dances around the compliments. It's so good... Especially when they are together and our anxious goof STILL gets flustered( Mersion is in this category... of course XD Lou kinda fits here too! Lou has a bit of a pervy-goof streak. )
Anxious Goofball x Anxious: Both are anxious beans which makes the goofball here try to be silly and cheerful to help the other... Wholesome... ( Merlot, Oren)
I also really like when goofy characters are infectious! Like in Heli's case... when you start acting goofy then he gets flabbergasted and goofy and then you have two goofy idiots in a room together... It's beautiful...
I dunna I can't help putting a little bit of anxious goof into a lot of my protagonists XD it just makes me happyyyy
Scenarious oooooh! I'm not sure.. Like... the one bed scene? That kind of thing? I can't really think of any off the top of my head, but I know I drift to writing stories that have the protag. escape from places or being trapped somewhere WHEEZE! I don't know if that answers the scenario question though??? XD
