morning study and coffee, 30.04 THUR

made it into the city without a hitch this morning so i treated myself to a coffee at a shop i havent been to in a while (maybe even a year!) becaus ei had the time this morning.

also using the kindle for my readings/research has been a game changer! i dont use it to actually read any books, so its a good way to use it after the last couple years of it collecting dust (i didnt know you could send-to-kindle…)

studying, 24.04 FRI

working on my semester project for one of my history units and got a video in the background from miniminuteman 👍

feeling sick, but working on my project is pretty good.

i cant do digital notes. i did try. i love my books though. ive had this one for a long time and hadnt used it. this projecy is the perfect reason to use it because i have a lot of reading and writing to do.

there is always something to learn when studying, and i keep learning that i need pens an a book to get shit done because i keep trying to go digital.

unmotivated, but here 27.09 SAT

i need to grt motivated. i started this assignment the other day, but i’ve been putting it off until today. it’s due in two days, but i want it done with so i can say i’ve finished this unit and put it behind me.

anyways, other than that, i’ve got a week off uni, so i’m just going to get things organised for when i get back. as well as take some time to myself, i think i’m allowed to have that much hahahaha

research/essay writing 26.09 THU

researching for my english essay at the library today!! writing on the romantics/william blake. ultimately, i’m hapoy i went with blake and this art/literary movement. the discussion he makes surrounding religion in ‘the marriage of heaven and hell’ is reallt captivating and interesting. and the scholarship is nice to read as well!!

i’m just doing some quick research to see how strong my current arguments are represented, or if i need to alter them, or find more scholarship to either argue with or against

also going to the library was a great decision, i actually started writing the bloody thing.

study on the train, 06.05 TUE

actually analysing the book!! i’ve got my notes that are in my copy, then the other notebook when my thoughts won’t fit in the book, or i really want to remember a page number or a particular thought.

it’s probably the best way i’ve decided to take notes on reading now? i used to jusg force fit everything in, but i like this system A LOT more, so i’d suggest it for my fellow lit studies people/people who just think a lot about what they read, and feel the need to write it down.

this presentation is due today, and i’m not going to lie, i really procrastinated it. i know what i want to say about it, i just hadn’t bothered putting it together. so here we are, doing it now.
