i’m flora, i’m 21, and i’m in my third year at uni!!
i’m studying english literature, history, and education studies.
im not sure what will come of this blog, but it will be interesting! (i hope.)

monday | may 18
i'm continually surprised by how little my classes this term have in common. i guess that's the true liberal arts experience, but i still get whiplash switching back and forth between papers on TB antibiotics, gothic literature, and AC circuits.
study on the train, THU 21.05
it was birthday this week! officially 21, which is funny as hell. however being 21 does not stop the study grind 💪💪💪
i was productive this morning, because i got through most of the article i was reading, so i’m pretty happy! anyways, its nearly the afternoon now, so i’ll get back to being distracted til i get on the train again :D
morning study and coffee, 30.04 THUR
made it into the city without a hitch this morning so i treated myself to a coffee at a shop i havent been to in a while (maybe even a year!) becaus ei had the time this morning.
also using the kindle for my readings/research has been a game changer! i dont use it to actually read any books, so its a good way to use it after the last couple years of it collecting dust (i didnt know you could send-to-kindle…)
studying, 24.04 FRI
working on my semester project for one of my history units and got a video in the background from miniminuteman 👍
feeling sick, but working on my project is pretty good.
i cant do digital notes. i did try. i love my books though. ive had this one for a long time and hadnt used it. this projecy is the perfect reason to use it because i have a lot of reading and writing to do.
there is always something to learn when studying, and i keep learning that i need pens an a book to get shit done because i keep trying to go digital.
how do i hype myself up to study in these conditions (i worked all day today and im tired)

had a contract law exam today!📚 it went meh, but at least it's all done... that was today's setup for the pre-studying :).

lecture content, 25.03 WED
this lecture is honestly going to be a big help for my unit project, so huge bonus!! the readings seem interesting enough, but i have yet to actually read them properly (we love a summary, we love an abstract)
anyways, this weekend will be a lot of research for this project because i have to put in my propsal!! exciting stuff!!

became a one note baddie because it was timeee. its all set up (has been for a bit), but i’m back at uni! these past two weeks have been chill, but the Week 3 and 4 curse is upon me (assignments start soon).
taking it easy atm for my health, but i’m on a roll for now. ignore how the lecture content is split, my lecturer split his videos up this week (and yes, i’m fixing up my notes post-class, had a ROUGH week lolsicles)

first day back on campus today! (for actually going in for classes at least) and i was actually ready for class! not sure about the semester itself…
Took me until about halfway through college before I realized “study” means “play with the material in a variety of ways until you understand it” and not just “read the assigned chapters and do the homework” and I think that probably should have been discussed at some point prior to that.
