On August 19, 1967 Maureen and Ringo welcomed their second son, whom Maureen chose to name Jason. Ringo visited the hospital every day and on August 24th posed with his wife and son at the hospital for family portraits released to the press. Maureen encouraged Ringo to join the Beatles on their trip to Bangor, Wales on August 25th, while her mother Florence Cox came to the hospital on August 26th to take Maureen and Jason home🌹🌺🌹

August 26, 1967 - Maureen and her mum, Florence Cox, taking week-old Jason home from London's Queen Charlotte's Maternity Hospital. Absent dad Ringo was away with his fellow Beatles in Bangor, Wales attending a five day introductory Transcendental Meditation course.

Wedding Day Outtake!

February 11, 1965 - Waiting in chairs at Caxton Hall for the early 8:00 a.m. wedding ceremony to begin are (Front Row): Harry Graves, Ringo Starr, Maureen Cox, and her mother Florence Cox. (Back Row): Brian Epstein, Cynthia Lennon, John Lennon and George Harrison. Paul McCartney missed the ceremony because he was on holiday in Tunisia. Robert Freeman recalled that John was laughing and cutting up behind Ringo & Maureen's backs while he was taking photographs.
