“We can play knights and princes!” “Why can’t I be the knight?” Richard pouted, crossing his arms over his chest as Florian waved the sword in front of the both of them, swinging it at invisible enemies only he could see. “Because you don’t want to move around right now, yeah? And a knight does a lot of running around protecting beautiful princes from dangers. You can hold the sword when I save you if you want to though!” Richard didn’t know why his cheeks seemed to blaze with heat upon hearing Florian’s words but he nodded along regardless.
