Kirby: Meta Knight and the Monster of the Magic Stone - Chapter ☆14: Onto the Next Adventure
The party on the beach is getting more and more exciting.
Adventure Waddle Dee is sitting alone on the beach, separated from the Waddle Dee Squad, who are making drinks and carrying food.
As he gazes upon the moonlit sky, memories of the days he spent on this planet come flooding back.
He falls into the sea and is rescued by Lucia, then handed over to Meta Knight, and fought the terrifying King Flotzo.
It was a dreamlike series of adventures.

King Dedede looked at Adventure Waddle Dee carefully and said.
"Is there something you want to say?"
"What?! N-Nothing. Nothing!"
"I've always thought you were a bit strange, but especially since coming to this planet..."
Adventure Waddle Dee was embarrassed.

"Please... please... please, Great King, Great King..."
The tears wouldn't stop. Adventure Waddle Dee covered his face with both hands.
However, Meta Knight seemed to understand King Dedede's thoughts. He nodded and said.
"In that case, let me take Waddle Dee to my ship."
"…Eh!?"
Adventure Waddle Dee looked up.
Meta Knight said.
"It's the opposite for us, we're short-staffed. I know very well how hard he works. He makes great tea and keeps a watchful eye."
"Of course. All of my subordinates are hard workers."
"It would be a great help if he were on board. However,"
Meta Knight looked at Adventure Waddle Dee.

King Dedede turned away.
Meta Knight held out one hand to Adventure Waddle Dee.
"Then let's welcome you onto the battleship Halberd. I look forward to working with you."
"Thank you very much! I'll do my best! I look forward to working with you!
Adventure Waddle Dee grasped Meta Knight’s hand tightly with both hands.
"Adventure Waddle Dee is quitting the Waddle Dee Squad!"
The shocking news spread quickly throughout the party venue.
The Waddle Dee Squad members surrounded the Adventure Waddle Dee in shock.
Bandana Waddle Dee said in a trembling voice.
"You're kidding, right Adventurer? You're not quitting the Waddle Dee Squad, are you...?!"
"I'm not lying, Bandana. I'm quitting."
"Adventurer! Why…..?!"
The Waddle Dees burst into tears.
"No way, Adventurer! Why are you quitting?!"
"I want to practice singing and dancing with you again! Don't quit!"
"Thanks, but I've already made up my mind." Adventure Waddle Dee said firmly.
The Waddle Dees continued to cry, but Bandana Waddle Dee was the only one who came to his senses.
He realized that Adventure Waddle Dee was feeling positive about leaving the Waddle Dee Squad.
"Adventurer... you are..."
"I'm going to the Battleship Halberd. I'm going to become Meta Knight's subordinate."
"Huh!?"
The Waddle Dees shouted in unison.
"The Battleship Halberd!? Why!?"
"They’re constantly fighting and crashing! It's dangerous!"
"Adventurer, you can't fight! That's impossible...!"
"It's okay. I'm going to train myself from now on."
"But...!"
The Waddle Dees looked increasingly anxious and tried to stop Adventure Waddle Dee.
But then a loud voice rang out.
"That's great! I'll support you!"
It's Pietro.
With a big mug in his hand, he was in a very cheerful mood. Of course, he had Flotzo the octopus on board his head.
Pietro continued, holding up his mug.
"Adventure is my life! With my partner, we can overcome any crisis. Right, Flotzo?"
"Yes, buddy!"
Flotzo swayed on his legs.
Lucia smiled, holding up her glass of juice.
"I'll be cheering you on too! I hope you have a wonderful start, Adventurer!"
Kirby shouted.
"I'll be cheering for you too! No matter where you are, you're always an adventurer. Cheers to your new adventure!"
"Cheers!"
The Meta-Knights, Captain Vul, King Dedede, Chef Kawasaki, and even the townspeople joined in a rousing toast.
The Waddle Dees stopped crying, and little by little, they began to smile.
Flotzo began to sing in a lovely voice.
"We are pirates, aiming for treasure! There is a tomorrow beyond the sea, yo ho! Raise your anger and scare the monsters, and go on, go on! No monster is scary, yo ho!"
Applause broke out, and everyone began singing in unison.
Kirby, Waddle Dee and the others danced excitedly.
Adventure Waddle Dee's eyes welled up with emotion, and he clapped his hands along with Flotzo’s song.

Kirby: Meta Knight and the Monster of the Magic Stone - Chapter ☆12: A Great Battle on the Ocean!
On the 'Sunset Harmony' are Meta Knight and his subordinates.
King Dedede, Kirby, and the Waddle Dee Squadron ride the 'Morning Melody.'
Lucia and Pietro are on Lucia’s pirate ship.
The three ships, raising their white sails, head towards King Flotzo’s territory.
The swell on the sea surface gradually increased. King Flotzo's presence could be felt beneath the surface.
The three ships took distance and spread out to surround King Flotzo.
Each boat was provided with a lasso made of a large rope. One end is hanging and the other end is securely tied to the mast.
This is because of a plan devised by Adventure Waddle Dee.
The ship’s rocking became more and more violent. Captain Vul on the 'Sunset Harmony' said.
"Everyone, are you ready?"
"Yes!"
The Meta-Knights all spoke in unison.
On top of the mast is Adventure Waddle Dee holding a telescope. With King Dedede’s permission, he decided not to return to the Waddle Dee Squadron but to stay on the ship.
Adventure Waddle Dee shouted.
"The sea surface has begun to foam! It’s coming!"
The sea parted with a whoosh, and a giant leg appeared.
Captain Vul shouted.
"Everyone, close your eyes and throw!"
The Meta-Knights close their eyes in preparation for the light of the magic stone, unite their strength and raised their lasso.
"That’s it!"
They spun it around and threw it in King Flotzo's direction!
Their eyes were closed, so the direction was random.
The rope fell into the waves, completely out of place.
But then Kirby flew in.
He was wearing a blue cap and his hands were glowing.
It was the ESP copy ability!
Kirby quickly picked up the rope that had fallen into the waves.
"All right! Let's go!"
Kirby took the lasso and jumped, hooking the loop at the end around King Flotzo’s leg.
"Gwaaaaah!"
King Flotzo cried out in annoyance, and swung his legs around. His movements caused the loop to dig in even more, squeezing his leg tighter.
Kirby yelled.
"First one, a success! Keep throwing!"
"Okay! I’ll take care of it, Kirby!"
Lasso after lasso flew from the three ships.
Kirby grabbed the second rope and jumped up.
With a whoosh, the surface of the sea parted again and a giant leg appeared.
It’s a leg with a bracelet on it.
The moment the purple magic stone was about to emit light.
"There! Vanish!"
Kirby shouted and disappeared.
Having lost sight of his moving enemy, King Flotzo rolled his large eyes back and forth.
Behind him——
"Teleport!"
Kirby appeared.
This is the true essence of the ESP's copy ability. By simply thinking about it, he can disappear at will or appear at a distant location.
"GEOOOOOOOO!"
King Flotzo swung another leg at him in annoyance.
"Let's go!"
Without a moment's hesitation, Kirby grabbed the lasso and hooked it around King Flotzo’s leg.
He patiently repeats the same thing. The moment the magic stone glows, he vanishes with Vanish, appears out of King Flotzo’s sight, and puts the lasso around his leg.

Three from the 'Sunset Harmony,' three from the 'Morning Melody,' and one from Lucia’s ship.
Seven ropes were attached, securing all of the legs.
"Ngaaaaaaaah!"
King Flotzo went on a rampage.
The three ships were pulled together and swayed violently.
On each boat, everyone desperately clung to the masthead and gunwales.
Kirby, facing King Flotzo, shouted.
"Now, I'm your opponent! Take that, psychokinesis!"
The electric energy turns into a lightning bolt, and he fires at King Flotzo!
It was a powerful attack that would have knocked down any normal creature in an instant, but King Flotzo wasn't even scratched.
Kirby was in front of King Flotzo flying around, attacking in quick succession.
"Yay! Psychokinesis! PK Electroshift!"
Although no damage was dealt, King Flotzo became increasingly irritated.
"GEOOOOOOOO!"
All seven of his legs were tied up with rope.
This meant that King Flotzo only had one means of attack left.
King Flotzo took a deep breath.
Aiming at Kirby, who was flying around, it was fired at him—
"Shhhhhhh...!"
A pitch-black ink!
Kirby had been waiting for this moment.
"PK EVADE!"
With perfect timing, he disappeared and dodged the ink.
Splat!
With a muffled sound, a chunk of ink was blown onto the spot where Kirby had just been—onto the purple magic stone.
The magic stone was covered in ink and completely invisible.
Kirby reappeared and yelled at the top of his lungs.
"Yes! We succeeded! Everyone, you can open your eyes now!"
A loud cheer rose from the three ships.
Adventure Waddle Dee shouted, out of breath. "Yes! As expected of Kirby! It worked just as according to the plan!"
The Meta-Knights ran towards Adventure Waddle Dee and started to mob him.
"Good job, Adventure!"
"You're amazing! That was a good idea!"
Captain Vul said.
"Don't let your guard down yet! This is where it gets tricky!"
He continued, turning around.
"The magic stone's spell has been sealed away! Lord Meta Knight, good luck in battle...!"
However, Meta Knight was no longer there.
He had spread his cloak and jumped up.
In his hand is Pietro's sword.
King Flotzo noticed Meta Knight approaching and changed his target.
"Shhhhhhh...!"
He sprays ink at Meta Knight again.
Meta Knight dodged lightly and raised his sword.
King Flotzo’s face was right in front of him. If he continued slashing with this sword, King Flotzo would be cut in half.
But Meta Knight didn't do that.
He sharpened all of his senses and waited patiently for an opportunity.
King Dedede, who was on the ship, roared.
"What are you doing, Meta Knight?! Get it done quickly... Uwaaaah! If you keep rambling on, the ship will be flipped over!"
King Flotzo didn't let up, moving all seven legs.
All three ships looked like they might fall over at any moment.
Lucia also shouted, banging on the side of the boat.
"Are you scared, Meta Knight? Hurry up, you idiot!"
However, Pietro stopped her.
"Shut up, Lucia. Don't get in Lord Meta Knight's way."
"But... Grandpa!"
Lucia was about to complain when she came to her senses and closed her mouth.
Pietro stared intently.
He watched as Flotzo, his former partner, writhed about violently.
Meta Knight could no longer hear the roars of King Dedede, King Flotzo, or the sounds of the wind and the waves.
As a result of concentrating to the utmost, all sound disappeared and silence descended.
A gigantic head wearing a giant crown was right in front of him.
If he slammed Pietro’s sword into it, it would be the end. King Flotzo would lose its life and sink to the depths of the ocean.
He only had one chance.
If he failed, King Flotzo would abandon the fight and flee back to the bottom of the ocean, taking the three ships connected by ropes with him.
He had to be absolutely sure. Only one hit.
Meta Knight held his breath and waited.
And then——at last.
"Now!"
Meta Knight leapt into the air and, using all his strength, swung his sword down.
He hit the base of the leg where the bracelet is attached.
King Flotzo’s thick leg was cut off in an instant.
"Aaah... Gyaaaaaah!"
It was only for a moment that a terrifying scream shook the air.
The next moment, King Flotzo's huge body disappeared.
"What?! It's disappeared?!"
Kirby was surprised.
"Why?! Why?! King Flotzo, where did you go?!?!?"
Kirby flew towards Meta Knight.
Meta Knight took a long breath and said.
"It probably didn't disappear. It probably happened when the magic stone bracelet came off..."
But.
Kirby refused to listen to Meta Knight's explanation and protested with tears in his eyes.
"That's terrible! That's terrible! Why would you do that? I fought with Meta Knight because I thought he would defeat the octopus! If I had known he would kill him, I would have stopped Meta Knight!"
"N-no… listen to me Kirby…"
"Without an octopus, we can’t have a takoyaki party! Waaaaaaaaah!"
Kirby became distraught and slapped Meta Knight.
Meanwhile, on the 'Melody of the Morning Glow,' King Dedede was yelling in anger.
"Meta Knight, what are you doing?! With that one leg, I could easily make a thousand takoyaki! I won’t forgive you…!"
But then, Bandana Waddle Dee shouted.
"Oh, look, Great King! There's an octopus floating there!"
"What?! It's not over yet! It's my turn now! I'll take care of the seven legs, this time it's for sure me...!"
"No, that's not it! It's not King Flotzo, it's a small octopus! What is that...?"
On the deck of Lucia’s pirate ship, Lucia and Pietro were leaning over the edge of the ship and shouting.
"Could that really be the octopus friend in grandpa's photo!?"
"Flotzo... Oh, really, Flotzo! My goodness... he's back to normal!"
He frantically tried to jump into the sea but Lucia stopped him.
"Whoa, Grandpa, calm down! If you jump into the ocean with those feet, you'll drown!"
"Don't be silly! I'm a pirate! Let go of me!"
"Calm down! I'm sending the boat out now!"
Lucia lowered the lifeboat.
Pietro and Lucia got on the boat and rushed to the little octopus floating on the water.
The octopus had his eyes closed and was unconscious.
Tears welled up in Pietro's eyes.
"There's no doubt about it, it's Flotzo...! Oh, Flotzo! You...!"
Pietro leaned out of the boat and scooped up the tiny octopus.
He hugged the octopus tightly and rubbed its cheek, and it opened its eyes slightly.
"Uh…uh…hm…?"
Lucia muttered.
"What's going on? Just a moment ago he was King Flotzo...how did he suddenly return to his original form...?"
At that moment, Meta Knight and Kirby got off Pietro's boat.
Pietro looked at Meta Knight, not even trying to hide his tears.
"You saved Flotzo. You turned my partner back to his original form...!"
"You said it was the power of the magic stone that turned the little octopus into a monster."
Meta Knight answered quietly.
"If I could just cut off the bracelet, he'd go back to his original form, right? I thought it might work. I wasn't sure, but... it seems to have worked."
"Thank you, Meta Knight. Thank you so much. Thanks to you, I'll be able to see my partner again. I’m so grateful…! I can't thank you enough!"
Pietro wiped away the tears that were streaming down his face.
Meta Knight shook his head.
"It wasn't just my own effort. The plan was devised by Adventure Waddle Dee. And Lord Pietro and Captain Lucia, it's all thanks to everyone joining forces."
Pietro took something out of his jacket pocket.
It's a crumpled bandana.
It was the bandana that Flotzo was wearing in the photo hanging in Pietro's weapons room.
He carefully stretched it out and wrapped it around Flotzo's head.
Flotzo, who had been in a daze, suddenly came to his senses and looked at Pietro.
Flotzo said incredulously.
"Um... well... who are you? What's that? Could it be Pietro?"
"Of course! What's wrong, Flotzo? Have you lost your memory? How can you forget the face of your partner?"
"Pietro... wow! That voice, that way of speaking... it's definitely Pietro!"
Flotzo opened his eyes wide and looked intently.
"But what's wrong with you, Pietro? Since I last saw you, you've become an old man!"

Kirby said.

"Give up on the takoyaki, Kirby."
"Yeah, I get it!"
Kirby said with a grin.
"Now that King Flotzo is gone, we can catch some Marino crab, right? Let's go catch some crabs and head back to the port! It'll be a crab party!"
Lucia clapped her hands.
"Oh, that's great! I've never eaten Marino crab! Grandpa, make me some croquettes!"
"Yeah, of course. But first..."
Pietro held out his hand to Meta Knight.
"Can you give me back that sword?"
"Ah, sorry. I forgot."
Meta Knight handed the sword back to Pietro.
Pietro hugged the sword in return, looking down at the sea.
"There is an especially deep trench around here, even among the Marino Seas. Marino crabs are mystical crabs that are said to be born from this trench."
"…I see."
"King Flotzo's bracelet sank to the bottom of the trench thanks to you cutting it off. And this sword too..."
Pietro held the sword up high.

Pietro let go of his hand.
The great sword sank silently to the bottom of the sea, deep beyond measure.
