The Tale of Two Cities according to Stephi and Heiko – Part 319
By the end of May, the sun has finally decided to show up in Germany and with the sun, people are coming out of their houses going to the parks to simply chill in the sunshine. With the sunshine and higher temperatures plants are finally showing up themselves. While cities are usually thought of as consisting of mostly concrete buildings, we have decided to show everyone that this is not always the case, unless not for Munich and Cologne.
The first picture shows a public flower bed with blooming flowers in the sunshine. You can find these places all over the city and it shows a fantastic contrast to all them concrete buildings, even though there are some beautiful one as well, as can be seen in the same picture.
You can find these flower beds in Cologne as well, but I decided to show you something different. The second picture does not show any blooming flowers, but there are more and more places that can be planted with different kinds of flowers by the people. These spots are usually small ones and close to smaller roads but many people without a garden are working on these spots.
How does it look in your city? Do you have or even plant on such places? Or if you are living in the countryside, do you have your own garden?
