Today we drove for 5 hours, crossed into another State, had some weird ice cream on the road, won 5 dollars at some scratch cards because I dreamed that I won 4 British pounds at a scratch card, saw a Jeep on fire on the highway, passed by a place called Zzyzx and by a hotel that looked straight from a Wes Anderson film, and arrived in Las Vegas. Here we found a mini Eiffel Tower, a small Venice, a Ceaser’s Palace, a small Arc de Triomphe. Like...I don’t know why there are mini versions of everything in here and at this point I’m too afraid to ask. 

But I had a very pleasant evening walking around the strip for a bit (scary), talking to the bartender in our hotel (and feeling like I’m in a movie). Then I had a long bubble bath and fell asleep while watching some Bruce Willis weird film shot in Las Vegas. Good day, overall.  

Things I learned today: - Zzyzx used to be a health and spa facility but now it’s a research center.  -  The world’s largest solar energy plant is in the Mojave desert.    - Las Vegas is full of ads and flyers with “Girls to your room” but actually prostitution is illegal.

I PASSED! 

Omg I was so stressed during the exam, looking in all the mirrors and craning my neck like a lizard. My mouth was dry and at the end when the police officer asked me to park the car I was shaking in the rhythm of my heartbeats  (×﹏×)

But I passed and the exam stress is over! Actually the only thing I did wrong was the parking. Yeap. The irony is not lost on me.
