Hey, guess who, despite us all being in the midst of a pandemic, got the flu. Do you get sick? Like at current? Dose someone take care of you? -Simply X
This is unfortunate, but oddly fortuitous; you did not contract the muggle plague! Still, I do wish you a speedy recovery.
Ah, yes, I can still catch illness in this form. It has most of the limitations of a regular human body - I can become too hot or cold, catch sick, break a bone. There are some things I have notice I am more tolerant of (heat, for example) and some senses that are improved (smell, oddly enough, considering the diminished nose that draws so much attention) but this may actually be because of the horcruxes, making me more serpentine.
I do not get sick often, however. I used to, as a child - the orphanage was drafty, and we were packed together in close quarters, we all got sick quite often - but never seriously ill, like the others. I think this is because of my magic. I do not recall ever being sick enough to be sent to the infirmary at the orphanage for anything more than a spoonful of cough syrup. And once I began at Hogwarts, illness was few and far between.
I got a headcold last year and did not need care: a pepper-up potion and eight hours sleep was more than enough to cure me. I cannot remember the last time I needed someone to care for me - well, other than that whole “losing my body” saga. Hmm, yes, not since I got my new form, then.
Injury, well, there have been a handful of times since I was reborn that I became injured - either in battle or practicing spells. I have always been able to mend myself - though once, Bella insisted on helping. It was...appreciated. I suppose.

Flue - Fancy Free
The story of this video
I was on Facebook one day and saw that a follower from instagram that I added on there had lost his mother.. I sent him a message to tell me how sorry I was to hear that...
He then thanked me and said that he played some of my bass music for her on her last day, as they talked often about music, and he thanked me for that..
Honestly... I cannot describe just how much that meant to me.
Of course I was then in tears after reading that. I was so so so touched.. couldn’t believe it.. what an honour.. I had absolutely no no idea. So I recorded part of the second movement of the Ibert flute concerto on the bass flute, thinking about both of them.. and created this video in her memory.
