Fluffy kobol?
Absolutely!
There's a lot of talk to be had about fluffy kobolds. Many unfortunately have been led to believe that "dog kobolds are a translation error," when in fact we can accredit scaled kobolds to the translation error. Many believe that fluffbolds live in different portions of the world - usually more cold regions, which would not suit the types of kobolds that love lounging on a warm rock on a boiling summer day - and are just a regional breed, the beauty of evolution.
Regardless of the origins of fluffbolds, they are a logical step to take. Fluff-covered and fur-covered dragons have been on a rise in popularity themselves, and while I personally do not submit to the idea of kobolds being related to (or even less, "the descendants of") dragons or dragon gods, furry kobolds would make sense to follow.
In my own source materials, the type of kobolds most people would call "fluffbolds" were just called "kobolds." They had soft ears, furry snouts, claws, ate rocks, and rolled advantage on all attacks (but would crit fail if either die landed on 1). Fluffbolds, actually, were a separate species, kobolds who let their fur grow wildly until they looked vastly different. These fluffbolds were chubbier, stronger, and lacked the jagged claws of more typical furbolds. They were a source of great euphoria in the community.
Furred and fluffy kobolds are one of my favorite fantasy species. :)
