A/n- this took me a while lol the past few days have been crazy. I apologise in advance for any inaccuracies I’ve never really been to a farmer’s market so this was purely based off my imagination and a few google searches.

"You got everything?" You called out to Bob as you picked up the car keys and headed outside.
“Yeah” Bob answered as he followed you outside.
The two of you had been planning to go to the farmer's market for weeks , and had finally cleared up your schedules this weekend for it.
You tucked your tote bag to your side before you sat down into the passenger seat of the car.
“Okay so going over the list one more time,” you pulled out the list on your phone.
Bob quietly dipped his head, nodded along as you read the list out loud.
"Did you not add carrots?" He pouted.
You gave him a puzzled look, “carrots?”
"Yeah for the carrot cake," Bob shrugged.
You pouted, "You sure you wanna make it again?".
"Yeah" he lifted his shoulders briefly.
"It's cuz last time...." you winced, upon remembering the memory. " when it didn't turn out so well, you spent the entire sunday crying over it" .
"Wha-pff I wasn't crying" Bob scoffed.
You gave him a blank stare, "I literally had to get you to stop crying by having a teenage mutant ninja turtles marathon”.
"That was-" he chuckled nervously. "it was- you know it was actually a tactic" he bobbed his head sideways.
You raised an eyebrow as you let out an amused chuckle, "Oh really?".
"Yeah" he nodded. "So that I could get you to watch it,"
You laughed, slowly shaking your head.

The farmer's market was a place full of lively chatter of sellers and customers.
There were more people than usual today since it was the weekend.
You spent the better part of the day visiting countless stalls getting far more things than you actually needed.
In less than two hours, you'd ended up with multiple bags filled to the point where things were threatening to spill out.
And of course, Bob insisted on carrying as much of the bags as he could, until he ran out of space in his hands and you took some of them from him.
Bob then spent the better part of an hour deciding on what carrots to pick for his cake.
”Bob it doesn’t matter they’re all the same” You groaned as you sat down on the ground, too tired to care how dirty it might be.
But he only continued to turn over every carrot like an expensive artifact and examine them with a crease between his brows, “Oh no it absolutely matters” he said without peeling his gaze away from the carrot. “it will factor into the entire flavour”.
“really hope you don’t end up crying again love” you muttered under your breath, slightly wincing.
”Hmm what?” Bob asked.
”nothing!” you squeaked.
After what felt like an eternity, Bob finally picked out his carrots and you headed forward.
”Would you like a sample, mam?” A seller offered you a tray of…juice?
You and Bob stopped as you looked at the drink. “What is it?” you asked curiously.
”Juice” The man shrugged.
”Yeah…” You slowly nodded. “But of what..?”
“All organic things mam, give it a try” and before you could deny, the man handed you both two cups.
By the time you’d finished up, the sun was no longer overhead and it was far less crowded at the market.
The two of you headed towards your car, hands entirely full of bags.
“Oh” your gaze fell on the glasses of juice. “You wanna try this juice sample love?” You asked Bob who was in the process of making space in the trunk.
”Yeah sure” he called out.
After setting all your bags inside the car, Bob settled in the driver's seat and you beside him.
“I'd say today was a success” he smiled as you handed him the glass of juice sample.
“Agreed” you nodded smiling.
He gently bumped his drink into yours before you drank it.
Your eyes widened comically as the taste hit your mouth.
“Ugh absolutely not!” you gagged.
You looked over to Bob who had a similar look on his face.
You grabbed his glass and quickly headed out of the car to dispose of it .
A/n- i was supposed to write this on sunday but i posted day ten fic and then suddenly it was 11:30 at night, but anyways here it is now

You'd woken up to the faint noise of rain pouring outside.
You sat up on your bed, and felt a chill creep onto your skin, the moment you moved your blanket away.
So you quickly wrapped it around you once again, having the urge to stay warm for a little longer.
You heard quiet footsteps before the door creaked open and Ben poked his head inside.
"Hey you're up" he smiled before pulling the door fully open and stepping inside.
Comfort spread through your chest like warmth as you saw him.
His hair was still messy, loose curls going every way. He was dressed in a pair of trousers and a shirt whose colours were fading from being washed one too many times.
He had his coffee mug in one hand and a small towel on one shoulder.
"Good morning" he placed his cup on the bedside table before planting a kiss on your forehead.
"Morning," you smiled."What were you up to?" you asked as you passed a glance at the towel.
"Hmm?" he looked over at his shoulder. "Oh I was just doing last night's dishes,".
You winced as you remembered it was your turn to them, but you had forgotten. "Oh no I'm sorry, I completely forgot about it last night," you apologised.
"Oh no don't worry," he reassured you. "I don’t mind doing the dishes, " he shrugged. “Besides, you needed some rest.”
You moved sideways to make space for him as he settled beside you on the bed.
"You had a bad dream last night?" a crease formed between his brows.
Your expression softened, "Yeah, did I wake you?" you asked.
"Oh no I couldn't sleep honestly," Ben admitted. "You were talking in your sleep."
You sighed, as you fiddled with the rings on your fingers.
Despite having left the Lot weeks ago, the memories hadn't left either of you. They'd woven themselves to the lines on your palms.
And no matter how hard you tried to run away, tried not to remember them, they always caught up to you.
Both of you.
But it was easier with Ben by your side.
He quietly reached for your hand and brushed his thumb over your skin.
"It's not easy," he spoke, his voice merely a quiet murmur, intertwining like a melody with the sound of the rain.
"It's not easy to forget something like that, to move past it,".
He wrapped his hand around yours, "But I'm here".
You looked up to meet his gaze.
"I'm here by your side," he said again, with much more certainty. "And I always will be"
A smile crept onto your features, "I love you so much," you whispered, as if you were afraid that your own voice might shatter the peace if you spoke too fast, too loud.
He smiled before slowly wrapping an arm around you and pulling you closer to him.
"I love you too," he murmured, before placing a kiss on your knuckles.
You rested your head on his shoulders.
"Always will" he said, as he rested his head against your head.
His hand moved up and down your arm, gently caressing it as you held onto his other hand.
For a moment, there was only the sound of the rain gently pouring outside and the sound of your own breathing.
And you finally felt like you didn’t need to stay alarmed, to not need to have your guard up, to be searching for some form of danger.
For the first time in a long while, you felt safe. Because you were in the arms of the man in whose company you’d found your solace, in whose company you'd found the quiet, gentle, peaceful form of love.
On the bedside table, Ben's coffee had long gone cold, but he didn’t care.
Bonus
It was just the two of you, quietly wrapped in each other's arms, wanting for the moment to never end.
And of course, Mark.
He called out your name before barging into your room, "Hey have you seen my blue shirt that I-".
"Ugh ewww" he rolled his eyes in disgust as soon as he saw the two of you.
You and Ben quickly moved away from each other.
You sighed before pointing at a bag on the chair, "It's in there,".
Mark shook his head like a very disappointed parent before walking over to the chair.
Pairings- Joaquin Torres x reader, platonic! bob reynolds x reader
A/N- Joaquin, reader and Bob being a crazy trio, reader being done with her two best friends (she still loves them tho), Bob being chaotic
I know I'm like four days behind but bear with me yall 😭🙏
Requested by- my loveliest lovely moot @lives-in-midgard I went ahead and decided to make Joaquin and reader a couple I hope u like this🫶
You had no idea how you let your two idiotic best friends convince you to go camping with them.
After the very poorly designed power point presentation, a bribe of being promised all your favourite halloween candy, and a week of not having to do the laundry, your boyfriend Joaquin and your best friend Bob had finally got you into coming on a camping trip with them.
It was you of course, who had made several lists of the things you needed, and had made sure you had everything.
The guys...helped as much as they could.
"It's gonna be the best weekend ever!" Joaquin held you by the shoulders as he practically jumped in excitement.
"If we manage to survive the weekend," you slightly winced.
"Oh come on, sweetheart ,relax!" He peeked from your side as he held you by the shoulders. "It's a weekend away from all the people you hate," he smiled.
A smile tugged at the corners of your mouth, "Hmn I suppose that does sound good,".
"Guys come help me with the-" Bob's voice came from near the car which was cut by a loud crash.
"Oh shit!" You and Joaquin jumped at the same time.
You ran to Bob who was swallowed by a pile of camping gear. "Oh no Bob, are you okay!?" You asked as you moved the gear away from him.
"Yeah, just pulled from the bottom," he chuckled as Joaquin helped him back to his feet.
"Be careful man," He pouted at Bob.
"Okay first things first," You clapped your hands. "We have to set up the tent," you grabbed the folded material.
"Okay..." The two guys nodded at the same time.
The three of you then stood awkwardly, no one moving.
"What?" You were the one to break the silence.
"Who's gonna do it?" Bob asked.
You stared at them, dumbfounded, "Whoever...knows how to set up a tent?"
Joaquin and Bob looked at each other, then at you, then back at each other again.
"Wait..." You blinked. "Do neither of you know how to set up a tent!?".
"No.." Joaquin winced
"Not really," Bob nodded.
You parted your lips in shock, "So you didn't even like, watch tutorials??".
"I thought he would do it," Bob pointed at Joaquin.
Joaquin gasped, "I thought you'd do it!" He pointed both his hands at Bob.
"Oh my god," You rubbed a hand across your forehead. "Okay did any of you bring a manual atleast!?" you asked.
"No..." Bob winced.
"Yeah no," Joaquin shook his head.
"But how hard could it be, we can figure it out right?" he shrugged.
"Yeah we can figure it out," Bob shrugged.
"totally "
"yeah ".
You tilted your head sideways, "Okay," You raised up your hands. "I'm gonna go get water from the stream, you guys got it?" you pointed at the tent.
"Yeah we got it," Bob offered you a smile as you left.
You didn't know what form of chaos you'd expected, but you were shocked to come back to see the tent all set up.
"Woah you guys actually did it!" You exclaimed.
"Yep! told you we would, "Joaquin exclaimed in a suspiciously high octave.
"Yeah we did it." Bob slowly nodded along. "Without crying...not even once."
You planted your hands on your hips, raising an eyebrow in question.
"We had a meltdown," Joaquin confessed.
"Totally yeah," Bob agreed.
"Spent the first ten minutes crying then another ten hyping each other up and then we finally did it... somehow," Joaquin explained.
You clicked your tongue, "Yeah that checks out,".
After finally setting up at your camp and having lunch, you and Joaquin were sitting quietly, your head resting against his shoulders.
While Bob had ventured out to explore the area as he'd said.
"You know," you began as you slightly lifted your head to look at Joaquin.
"Mhm?" He looked at you.
"It's actually not bad being here" You admitted.
Joaquin's face lit up, "Told you you'd love it!"
You chuckled quietly before reaching up and brushing his curls away from his face.
He cupped your face in his hands and slowly leaned in to-
"GUYS! RUN!!!!!" An all too familiar voice came screeching towards you.
The two of you whipped your head in the direction of the voice to see Bob running and screaming frantically.
"Holy shit!" Your mouth hung open as you saw the very angry swarm of bees chasing after him.
Joaquin quickly grabbed your hand as the three of you ran for your life through the woods.
A/n- Mutual pining, both reader and Kate being flustered idiots, meet cute at a wedding cuz it's my dream to have one myself (but it's never happened lol)
I was gonna go sleep but I thought to edit this first so here it is!

You nervously fixed your dress as you stepped out of the cab with your friend.
Sarah, your friend, had somehow managed to convince you to be her plus one to her Boss’s wedding.
Which was hell for you, since you hated last minute plans.
“I still think this is a terrible idea,” you winced.
“Oh come on” Sarah groaned. “We're literally standing on the gate of the venue” she pointed her hands at her feet.
“I could just go back, the cab isn't even gone yet-” you pointed your thumb backwards.
“Oh my god, relax” She placed her hands on your shoulders. “You'll do great!,” she reassured.
But that didn't help your spiral, “Okay but what if I trip, what if I laugh weird, oh my god my laugh is so wierd” you started rambling.
“Stop stop stop” Sarah cut you off. “You'll be fine, just breathe. Now come on” she grabbed your elbow and dragged you along.
***
The wedding, much to your surprise, hadn't been that bad so far.
You hadn't embarrased yourself infront of anyone, yet, and hadn't tripped and fell.
And, the cake just so happened to be your favourite flavour.
You were standing in a fairly empty corner, lost in thought.
"Hey!" Sarah caled you from afar. "Come over here there's some people who wanna meet you" She waved at you.
You stifled a groan, annnoyed by the prospect of having to interact with more people.
Your gaze was fixed on your friend as you headed in her direction, then suddenly, you felt yourself collide with someone
Your heel twisted the wrong way and you were right about to fall on your face, then you felt it.
A pair of arms holding you in place.
"oh shit! I'm so sorry" the person profuselfy apologized as they helped you to your feet.
You looked up at met the gaze of a girl.
Her curls shook near her eyes as she bobbed her head, and you noticed the slight hint of green in her blue eyes.
Time seemed to slow dow, and the world faded out of your view.
For a moment, it was just the two of you, gazing into each other's eyes.
You suddenly blinked, and broke out of whatever sort of trance you'd just slipped into.
"I'm so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going," the girl apologised again, as.
"Oh it's a-" you blinked as you tried very hard to stop your brain from spiralling.
"no worries" you let out a loose chuckle. “It was my fault too,".
She exhaled in relief , "I-uh I'm Kate, by the way" she said.
"Oh nice" you smiled, and told her your name.
Suddenly, you ralised her arms were still on yours. You glanced sideways to her hands.
"Oh shit" She said, clearly embarrased as she quickly moved her hands away from you. "Sorry" she cuckled nervously.
“it's-it's no worries" yu shrugged.
Brain work please
You mentally demanded your brain.
"There you are!" Sarah appeared beside the two fo you.
“Seriously how long does it take-" the words died on her lips as soon as she saw Kate.
"Oh am I interrupring something…?" she asked.
"No!" Both you and Kate blurted out at the same time.
"I mean, no not realy" Kate let out a nervous chuckle.
"Yeah totally"you agreed.
"Alright..." Sarah nodded along slowly, but didn't look convinced.
"I'll uh- I'll see you around..?" you asked Kate a you began walking away.
She quickly replied, "Yeah of course!”
***
The next time you saw kate, was during the bride and groom dance.
You were standing at a corner while Sarah talked to some of her colleagues.
"Hey" Kate walked over towards you.
You turned to her and smiled,"Hey".
"Are you...having fun here?" she asked, unsure of her own words.
"Eh kind of" you stightly winced. You lowered your voice, as you spoke, “This one guy Bryce keeps talking about some Neo all the time.” you glanced over at the guy.
Kate chuckled in response, "Yeah why does he keep talking about Neo all the time?" she said.
"Right?" you agreed.
"And who even is Neo?" the two of you said at the same time.
Both of you were taken by surprise, then you laughed, and so did she.
"Honestly," you began. "I didn't want to come here in the first place, but my friend dragged me" you explained.
"Oh" Kate pouted. "Why’s that?"
"Eh I don't know" you shrugged. "Social gatherings...not really my thing" you admitted. "Half the time I'm worrying thinking of a thousand different ways I can get myself embarrased," you chuckled nervously.
Kate laughed along with you, "Yeah I get that" she nodded.
"I actually thought I had embarrased myself infront of you" she rubbed her hand on her neck as she admitted.
You widened your eyes, "That's what I was thinking!" You exclaimed.
"Oh wow" She laughed. "Well since we both thought the same..." she waved a had. "I don't think we embarrased ourselves infront of each other" a small chuckle escaped her lips.
You laughed loudly, then immediately cringed at your own laugh, so you stopped, "Yeah I think so" you nodded.
"Well I for one, am glad your friend dragged you here" Kate said, shyly.
A puzzle look washed over your features, "Why?" you asked.
"So uh…we- I mean-" Kate awkwardly tried to explain herself. "So that, I got to meet you" she waved her hands infront of her as she attempted to explain.
"Ohhhh" You slowly nodded..
"Well um-" you began. "I don't regret coming here" you chuckled nervously.
"Because I got to meet you" you hurriedly over explained.
"Oh I'm- I'm glad" Kate nodded.
The two of you spent a good while, talking to each other, once you figurd out how to get out of the awkward bubble.
And soon, the guests began to pair up to dance.
"Would you-" Kate pointed a finger at you, then at the dance floor. "Would you like to dance?" she asked.
You were taken by surprse at her offer, "Okay but I have to warn you I'm not very good at dancing" you explained.
"Oh that's okay me neither" she chuckled.
"So..." She offered you her hand, which you took and ignored the heat that immediately rushed to your cheeks.
"I do have to warn you though, I might step on your toes," You said as the two of you made your way to the dance floor.
Kate laughed in response, "I wouldn't mind" she met your gaze and smiled.
And you could've sworn youer heart stopped right then.
Perhaps coming to this wedding wasn't such a bad idea after all.
