Curry, Darth Vader, and the Teapot Song.

“Hey are you okay?” A voice interrupted your ‘Daredevil’ marathon. Sitting up a bit from underneath your perfectly wrapped blankets you saw who it was. “I’m fine Kai I just needed to veg out a bit.” You replied making him huff. “Well if you’re going to veg out in our apartment can you order some food?” He asked sitting down on the edge of the couch. “I made food. Curry is in the crock pot and you can reheat some of the rice that I put in the fridge.” You replied making his eyes widen. “You made curry? You’re the best.” He grinned pecking you on the forehead as he headed to your kitchen. “Can you get me some ice?” You asked before hearing an annoyed whine. He might complain about getting you stuff but he knows you need a night like this every month. Silent no talking night where you eat food and watch a Netflix series before passing out on the floor. Living in Mystic Falls was fun and exciting but still you only needed one single night where you weren’t running all over trying to save the town or sometimes the world. You smiled triumphantly as you were handed your cup full of crushed ice. He sat down on the floor to eat of the coffee table because neither one of you bothered to buy a kitchen table and you didn’t trust yourselves enough to eat on the couch. “Hey are you sure something didn’t happen?” Kai asked you making you groan. He was supposed to be an evil blood thirsty psychopath not the guy to ask you if you were okay a dozen times. “I just . . . Caroline was at the Grill today and wouldn’t shut up about how different I have become since I learned about my magic.” You admitted sitting up letting the blanket fall off of you. He got up slowly took away your cup and sat down next to you with his arms wrapped around you. Cliche or whatever but it did help ease your annoyance towards the blond vampire. “Want me to kill her?” He asked making you bust out laughing. “As hot as you are with blood all over yourself, she’s not that bad.” You answered after you could breath again. “But it could’ve been so much fun.” He whined making you smile. “Agreed but still watching Matt Murdock kick major ass makes me feel much much better.” You stated making him roll his eyes as he went back to eat his food. It was  silent until he had finished all of his food and your cup of ice was empty. “Can we please do something? I’m bored.” He whined making a sad face. This only made you laugh as you stood up to stretch before you checked the time. “Can’t I have to get to sleep if I want to get to my lecture on time tomorrow. Promise to make it a Kai day after though.” You say making him whine as you both cleaned up the living area before going to your separate bedrooms. Halfway through the night you were woken up by a familiar body crawling into bed with you. “Kai what are you doing?” You groaned as his arms wrapped around you pulling you into him your back to his chest. “I didn’t want to wake you up. Just a bad dream that’s all.” He said as his face nuzzled into your hair. “What happened?” You asked wanting to know what scared the big bad heretic. “I’m not telling you. You will laugh at me.” He groaned which made you sit straight up as you stared down at him. “Malachai Parker you tell me what woke you up at . . . 2 am or I will find your candy stash and burn it.” You threatened making him groan as he sat up. “Fine . . . I . . . Had a dream . . . That Darth Vader was force choking me . . . And then with the force he made me sing the teapot song while wearing a . . . Slave Leia bikini.” He admitted making you burst out laughing as you fell against the bed. Clutching your sides you tried your hardest to stop laughing but looking at the former siphoner’s face you busted out in a new series of laughs. This continued even when he flopped onto the pillow next to you. Luckily you stopped laughing and looked over at Kai who was currently burning a hole in your head. “Sorry Kai . . . Honestly I am . . . Just lie next time. Say you remembered hell or something. Never tell me that again or I will possibly die of lack of oxygen.” You grinned before sat up pulling you up with him. “Okay but I got you to laugh again so I’m good with you laughing at my pathetic self. You do know you’re gorgeous when you laugh like that right?” He asked you making your face heat up slightly. “I . . . Um . . . Never . . . Nope.” You stuttered out as he grinned. Stupid pretty boy. Very stupid very pretty boy. “We’ve lived together for awhile now and I think I should tell you why I like you so much.” He said making you tilt your head slightly. “Is it because when we first met I punched you in your perfect face because you threatened Elena?” You asked making him scrunch his nose up at you. “More like you weren’t scared of the fact I could kill you. I mean I still could but I won’t. You saw past the whole me being psychotic and treated me like an equal. You made me realize while I love being a psycho and scaring the dream team I wanted something that would last. I mean I did go to hell and back just to be with you even if it was just to be friends. What I’m saying is that I think I have feelings for you past being just friends. Y/N I think I’m in love with you.” He admits his face the complete picture of vulnerability. Rolling your eyes you reached up placing you hands on his shoulders before leaning in and pecking his lips. “If you wanted to admit your feelings you could have waited. Now get the hell out of my room before I tell everyone about your little bad dream.” You threatened making him grin before bounding out of your room closing the door gently before shouting something in victory. You flopped onto your bed before being surrounded by amazing dreams. Most of them involving your possible new boyfriend?

Cupcakes

Summary: Reader and Kai make cupcakes. 

Characters: Reader, Kai Parker, Bonnie Bennet

Fandom: The Vampire Diaries

Word Count: 1061

I was laying upside down on the couch in my apartment. I was bored out of my mind.

I heard the front door open and didn’t bother getting up. I looked at nothing in particular until a pair of black boots came into my view.

“What are you doing?” The oh so familiar voice of your roommate and boyfriend.

“I’m bored.” I say as I attempt to sit up, ending with me falling on the floor.

Kai laughs at my mishap. “Shut it Parker.” I say standing. He laughs some more before asking, “Can you bake some cupcakes?” I look at him weirdly.

“Cupcakes? You want me to bake you cupcakes?” He looks at me as if I’m and idiot. “That is what I said little witch.” I narrow my eyes at him and walk to the kitchen. I check the cabinets for some cake batter but come up empty handed. I turn around and scream.

“Jesus Kai. How many times do I have to tell you not to do that!” I hold my hand to my chest.

He takes a seat by the island. “What would be the fun in that?” He asks with his signature mischievous grin.

“If I die of a heart attack there won’t be any fun for you too have.” I walk towards the doorway. “Or anyone to bake you cupcakes.” I add.

“Where are you going?” “To buy some cake batter and frosting.”

“I’ll come with you.” I was about to protest but he was already pulling me out the door.

I checked my bag to make sure I had everything I needed. We walked to the store seeing as it was conveniently close.

I was in the baking aisle looking at the different flavors. Kai had gone off to some other part of the store. He’s probably terrorizing some innocent person’s day. I chuckle at my thought. “What are you laughing about?” I turn around and hit the person behind me.

It’s Kai. Good. Maybe now he’ll stop appearing out of thin air.

“You hit me!” He hisses at me.

“Yea well I told you to stop doing that so it’s your fault you were hit.” I turn back to the cake mix and grab Devil’s Chocolate along with the Confetti one.

I walk down the aisle, ignoring Kai’s rambling, and pick strawberry, white and chocolate frosting.

I walk towards the check but before I can get there I hear a familiar voice, “Kai give that back!”

I turn and see Kai running around the store with Bonnie trailing after him. I sigh before walking over and stopping where Kai was headed. He sees me and comes to a complete stop, tripping a little before finding his balance.

“Kai we talked about this. You promised you would stop taking people’s personal belongings.” He looks at me with a frown forming on his beautiful face.

Bonnie catches up and takes her bag from Kai. “Thanks Y/N.” She says before sending a glare towards Kai. I take Kai’s hand and we walk to the check out.

When we get home I throw my bag on the kitchen table and put the things away, leaving the confetti cake and white frosting on the counter.

I mix the batter, put it in the oven and set the timer.

I walk out to the living room and Kai is nowhere to be found. I walk over to the balcony and he’s leaning against the railing.

I wrap my arms around his waist and lean my face against his back. “What’s up with you?”

“Nothing. Just waiting for those cupcakes.” He turns to look at me. I know something’s up but I don’t push him about it. He’ll tell me when he’s ready.

We stay in each other’s arms for a while before heading back inside. Just then the timer goes off.

“Wanna help me frost the cupcakes?” He nods his head and we walk towards the kitchen. I pull the cupcake out letting them rest while I get out the decorations and the frosting knife.

We start frosting them once we have everything. After a few minutes of silent frosting and decorating I look over at Kai. He has a look of concentration. I put down the cupcake I was working on and grab some frosting with my fingers before silently making my way over to him.

Once I’m close enough I smear the frosting on his face and run back to my side of the island laughing. He looks up at me with a glint in his eyes. “It’s on.”

And so the frosting war begins. We run around the kitchen throwing frosting and some of the decorations at each other.

I crawl around the floor trying to get to him.

“Gotcha” I hear behind me before having even more frosting smeared in my hair. I try to get up but end up falling on the frosting covered floor. Kai catches me before I hit the floor. He smiles at me before falling to the floor, pulling me with him. We laugh about the whole situation.

“We’re gonna have to clean this up.” I say after the laughing dies down.

“You could just use your magic you know.” He says matter of factly.

“Did any of the cupcakes survive?” I ask looking at him. “I don’t know.”

He gets up pulling me up with him. We look around and find about seven cupcakes still intact. Kai walks over to them while I use my magic to clean up the mess we made. After I’m done Kai hands me a cupcake.

“Consider it a peace offering.” He says with a small smile. I take the cupcake and bite into it. ‘Mmmm’ I close my eyes as I chew.

“I love you…” it was a whisper but I still heard it.

I open my eyes and look at Kai. He looks back with adoring eyes. He’s never once told me that in the time we’ve been together. I didn’t mind because he always showed me how much he cared but hearing him say it was a completely different thing. I put down my cupcake and walk over to him pulling him down into a very heated and passionate kiss.

We break away for air and stare at each other.

“I love you too.” I say before kissing him again.

Surprise Arrival

Requests: “could you maybe do Kai fluff?”

“Kai.” You nudged your husband from his side of the bed. The twinge in your belly alerting you. “Kai.” He groaned and you punched him, holding your stomach. 

Kai jumped up and looked furious, only to notice your pain. “What?” You took a deep breath and felt a slight ache between your legs. “Oh no no no-” He shook his head and jumped from the bed. “What do I do? What the Hell-” 

“Call your sister and tell her we need her!” You cried and slammed your head back into the pillows, you were about to give birth and you weren’t sure what to do anymore. Kai pulled his phone from the side table and dialed his sister’s number. “Get Jo on the phone.” 

Kai paced the room, running to your side of the bed to check on you. His face brightened up when Jo answered. “Hey Jo, its Kai.” He started and rolled his eyes. “No, my wife is about to give birth to another set of Gemini twins and I need your help.” He growled. He held his phone to his chest and checked your forehead. “Can you stand at all?” You whispered curse words to him and pushed yourself from the bed with his assistance. “She’s up, we’re heading you’re way. Don’t leave your shift early because its me.” He shoved his phone in his sweatpants pocket. 

You clutched your stomach, the pain was becoming too much and you screeched. Kai rubbed his forehead out of stress and looked over at you. Your eyes widened and you shook your head. 

“This can’t be happening right now.” You groaned and unclasped your seat belt. Kai’s eyes widened and he swallowed, heading straight down the street to the hospital. “Kai.” You clutched his arm. 

“What do you want me to do? Just leave the wheel here and help?” He snapped and you gripped his forearm harder. 

“Your demon seed is coming out of my body right now, Malachai Parker!” You yelled and worked on making your seat more comfortable. 

Kai looked so panicked and stressed. “Can’t you hold it in or something? We’re right around the corner.” He begged and you gripped the arm of the seat. 

“Let’s take a minute to realize this is one of our children and not an urge to pee!” You cried back. 

“It can’t be that bad, try and hold it!” He argued back. 

“Let me give you my uterus next time around and I’ll take your sperm and impregnate you. When nine months rolls around I’ll sit there where you are while you have a child coming between your legs and I’ll laugh at your discomfort.” You shot back. The car turned, Kai pulled right up to the front door, Jo was already standing there with another nurse and a stretcher to rush you inside. 

“Too late, we’re here anyway.” He closed the door and ran to your side, letting Jo have a look at you. “Hurry.” He rushed his sister and she sighed, smiling at you before having another doctor pull you from the car and lay you on the stretcher. 

“Hey Sweetheart.” Kai caressed your face. “How do you feel?” You took a deep breath and looked around. 

“Where are our children?” You whipped your head around and Kai caught your cheek in his hand. “What?” 

“We lost one.” He whispered, tears flooded your eye lids. “Jo said the umbilical cord suffocated it during birth.” It hurt him to see you so heartbroken. “Hey but we have a little girl who weighs almost eight pounds.” He only tried to lighten the mood. 

You wiped your eyes. “Have you seen her yet?” You sniffled. Kai shook his head. “Where is she?” 

“Jo is checking on her now. She has a set of pipes on her, the kid doesn’t stop screaming.” He complained. “Never again.” He shook his head, making you giggle. “This is too much stress. Protection next time.” 

“You act like they weren’t planned.” You laughed and he smiled, leaning in to kiss you sweetly. “Aren’t you going to be a kick ass Daddy?” 

Kai smiled triumphantly. “Of course.” The door opened and Jo walked in with a little pink blanket in her arms. 

“Congratulations, there is another Parker baby and she looks just like her father.” Jo smiled up at her brother. “She has the same eyes.” She noted to him and you reached out, Jo placed the little bundle into your arms. “I’m really sorry about the other, but she really is a special little girl.” 

Kai pushed his way between the bed and his sister, just trying to get a look at your child. “I’ve created a pale raisin.” He chuckled and poked his finger forward, letting her grab his finger. “She’s so small.” Her eyes opened and revealed the save blue gray eyes her father had. 

“She’s only a raisin because she’s been in fluid for nine months.” Jo laughed. “If you have any questions, call me.” She nodded to you and left, closing the door softly behind her. 

“I could hold her all day.” You beamed down at her. “Now you have somebody to teach magic too.” 

“She’ll be lighting things on fire.” He pecked your forehead. “We made a pretty good lookin kid.” You both laughed. “Can I hold her now?” 

You explained how he should hold her and handed her to him, she snuggled her face into his chest. “She’s a Daddy’s girl.” You noted. 

“I love her.” He smiled down at you. “This definitely was a surprise.” He sighed and let her wrap her small hand around his large finger.
