"I'll go find Clint too, he's sad he didn't get to go with you" she chuckled before walking off

"They're both something" you smiled before turning back to Steve

You and Steve kept chatting and joking with each other. While you were talking you noticed Tony, Peitro, Thor, Bruce, Bucky, Stephen all gather around you joining in your conversation. You didn't mind, but Steve is another story. He was giving small glares to everyone who talked to you.

You were talking to Tony and Bruce about upcoming tech when you felt a tap on your shoulder. You turned only to be met with a bucket full of red fruit punch. You wiped your eyes to see Peggy, Pepper, and some other girls smirking.

"Thats what you get you stupid slut!"

"Know your place!"

"Just leave so we don't have to see you!"

A chill ran down yourself as you turned to see the guy's glaring coldly at the girls, ready to throw the "You should never hit a girl" rule out the window

You just sighed and signaled for them to stand down. Then, you looked towards Wanda and Natasha, giving them a nod and making your way to the exit.

The boy's tried to get to you, but Wanda and Natasha stopped them while smirking

"Yeah, you better get out of here whore!"

"He's probably going to cry!"

"Pathetic!"

"Who would ever love something like that!"

"Besides, dating a guy when you are one is disgusting!"

"Yeah! They need a strong woman in their life!"

This made the boy's heated. They are ready to destroy these girls for talking shit about you, but they were stopped by Wanda and Natasha again

"Why do you keep stopping us!?" Thor boomed

"He'll deal with them, just be patient" Natasha said firmly

"And we think you'll like him even more when he gets back" Wanda's smirk grew

Needless to say, they were all confused. But they let it slide...for now. Minutes passed and the girls were still talking about you. The guys are on the edge of their seats ready to pummel every single one of them. But then the door opened making everyone's head turn and eyes widen. Their jaws were on the floor as you walked in sauntering over to the girls

You wore a black crop-top shirt with a black crop-top leather jacket draped over you shoulders. Possibly the most catching thing about your new look was your dress pants with thigh-high boots. Once you reached the girls you took off your shades to reveal a beautiful make-up look

The girls started crying and ran out of the room with their faces in their hands

"Woah, (Y/N) that was badass" Natasha gave you a high five

"Good thing I recorded it" Wanda said holding her phone

"Too late I already posted it! :P" Wanda giggled

The boys weren't paying attention since that whole encounter got them *ahem* excited, so now they're trying to calm themselves down

As the prom slowly started to resume (Y/N) was asked by almost everyone to dance which he of course obliged. He kept getting complimented about his looks and how he told each girl off. Soon it was time to announce the prom King and Queen. (Y/N) voted for (M!Avenger Name) as prom King and (Wanda or Natasha) as prom Queen

"Now it's time to reveal the prom King and Queen!" everyone started to clap and cheer in anticipation

"This year's prom King is....(Y/N) (L/N)!!!"

You were shocked! You weren't even a candidate as far as you knew. You slowly made your way to the stage as everyone started to cheer for you. Once on the stage, you were given your crown and sash by the previous prom King who congratulated you.

"Now for this year's prom Queen!" she opened the envelope

"This year's prom Queen is...(Y/N) (L/N)?" she said with confusion, but the crowd cheered even louder

The teacher looked towards the Principle who came on the stage "It seems that the majority of you voted for (Y/N) twice. Since this has never happened before we have decided that (Y/N) will be this year's prom King AND Queen!!" The previous prom Queen put the sash on you and gave you the crown to hold. She smiled and congratulated you. You were still in shock 'Prom King and Queen?!'

"(Y/N)! As the prom King and Queen, do you have a few words for the crowd?"

You stepped up to the mic "(Y/N) (L/N) breaking gender norms since (birth year)!" everyone laughed and you chuckled "One more thing, if someone tries to hurt or degrade you, look to your loved ones for help. They will always be there for you and if not then give me a call at (***)-***-**** I'll be there for you" you winked and started walking off the stage

Once you were off the stage you were swarmed by a huge crowd

"(Y/N)! Congrats!!!"

"That was such a good speech!"

"You rock!"

"You're so amazing!!"

"Thank you everyone!" you smiled making all of them swoon

"Hey, (Y/N) guess what I did" you looked at Wanda

"What did you do?"

"I may or may not have recorded not only you confronting the girls, but the prom King and Queen ceremony and posted it online" she giggled nervously

"Kill me now"

"(y/n)?" a soft voice called. "(y/n)? You up here?"

the latter quietly shifted and peaked down the attic hatch with a smile, only for it to be wiped away quickly when spotting the newcomer of the family. the girl has no problems with the newcomer, but sometimes she can sense the cold glint in her eyes whenever their gaze locked with one another.

but as quickly as her smile disappeared, it came back as she gestured for them to come up. (y/n) moved the the right of the window, the eldest situated herself beside the window, and then the new sister settled on a box to the left.

"peaceful night, ne?"

"mm"

There was a comforting silent filling the air that they all basked in with small content smiles on their lips as they stared off into their own space until the eldest sister spoke up.

"We were all scared of the demon hunters...."

(y/n) perked up and moved closer to her to lean into as the eldest wrapped her arms around the girl and gazed out the window, where she can see rui gave a punishing wound to mother and walk away. her pale irises lowered and held tightly onto (y/n).

"and just wanted companions... it's not like we wanted to take part in this baffling "pretend family" game. but those who fail to go along with rui's orders and demands get carved up or maybe have their intellect taken from them or get strung up, exposed to the sunlight.....

" it's quite a nuisance really... you should've ran when he offered you a spot." (y/n) murmured, her eyes staring down at the ageing wood below her.

the new sister stared at the two with pursed lips and a tilt of her head as if curious, but her eyes said otherwise.

"mm, i'v─ we've had enough of this..." 

'especially (y/n)' the eldest added into her thoughts.

oh dear (y/n), she was instantly caught into the web when she first step foot onto the mountain. that night... that night is what (y/n) wishes to take back. she wishes that she was never curious and befriended the young demon....

She wishes to never had caught feelings and expressed them.

the new sister looked straight ahead into nothing before a smile came upon her features.

"i'm going to pretend that i never heard you say tha─"

"we know you'e not a fool,"

"─huh?"

"unlike all the others..." (y/n) piped up, finishing the eldests words.

"let's run away together." the eldest turned with a smile, locking eyes with the fellow spider demon. "I never said this to anyone but (y/n)... but it seems like I can truly consider you as my little sister too. would you consider coming with us?" her gaze shifted down to (y/n), who in turn was smiling up at her with hope shining in her sparkling (e/c) orbs. the only thing that rui let her keep from her days as human because he loves how the colour shines under the stars.

the eldests hand came up and cupped the side of her face, thumb gently brushing her cheeks caused the girl to lightly giggle when she leaned into her pale hand, enjoying her comforting hold.

new sister stared at the two with slightly widened orbs until the eldest used her free hand to hold out towards her to grasp.

"What do you say?"

without hesitation, new sister lightly grasped onto her open palm with a small smile.

"tomorrow," the eldest started, face turning serious. "rui will be summoned by... that person and descend the mountain.. that will be our chance then.. to escape. be prepared you too."

"mm" the other two nodded with determination.

soon the sky began to shift colour and rui called throughout the house for his certain interest, (y/n). reluctantly the girl went but not without one last look to the two and nodded before disappearing down the attic hatch.

moments passed when new sister spoke up.

"what is (y/n)'s role?"

the eldest turned with a sullen look.

"it's not determined but.... it's assumed that she's rui's lover. though he says she's just a temporary interest."

"how long has she been here?"

silence settled over the two.

"nee-sa─"

"who knows." the eldests face was blank. "i lost count of things. it's hard to keep up anymore when you're trying to keep in line and survive."

"...i see."

"maa, no need to worry. after tomorrow night, we'll be free and no longer have to worry!" she stood and made her way to the hatch that leads down."just rest up and trust me. everything will be alright." and with that, she's gone. leaving the new sister by her lonesome.

"rui?"

"(y/n), come here."

the girl jogged to catch up as he leaded into the living space.

"sit here." he ordered as he sat down himself on his knees.

she followed suit and sat beside him, hands resting nervously in her lap.

rui held a purple  flower in front of her. a giboshi. (y/n) stared in awe at the flower and gently took it into her grasp, her fingers brushed touched the petals.

"i found it and it reminded me of you.. do you like it?"

his voice snapped her out of her state and purse her lips. "Yeah."

his head turned and his cold eyes pierced into hers, sending an uncomfortable shiver throughout her body. "what's the matter?"

although it's just a simple question, it felt like a demand. "w-what do you mean?"

he stared at her for moment before leaning in close, making her lean back with one hand out to suuport while the other of course held the flower to her chest.

"you know what I mean... is there something you're not telling me?"

she shook her head. "no, i promise."

he continued to stare and then he leaned in close, lips parting as if going for a kiss. (y/n) face burst into a bright red and beads of sweat slid down her temple. he moved in, closer and closer and closer and─

"you're a terrible liar, (y/n)..."

"Hu─"

(y/n) is yanked up from he spot to stand, dropping the beautiful flower to the old floor and let out a small yelp. small beads of blood formed on the digits of her fingers and wrist. tears formed the corners of her eyes and gritted her teeth.

"r-rui... i.. i-i promise!" she shouts. "i'm not lying!"

rui held his blank look and stood to move towards the dining area, it was then she noticed how his hands are positioned. she was so distracted from him being so close, she didn't have a chance whatsoever to defend herself to get out of the trouble she's now in.

making his way to the dining area, rui forced the girl to walk behind him, her arms outstretched from the forceful tug and the beads of blood dripped into a trail as they went.

"r-rui, please stop! you're hurting me!"

her pleas fell on deaf ears until they reached the dining and the family was already their.

some had smiles and others, neutral and one worrying.

"w-what's going on?" eldest sister questioned, only to be silenced by the signature cold stare and she went back to her position and only throwing small glances to (y/n).

'dinner' went somewhat peacefully, save for (y/n) who struggled with the webs wrapped around her limbs since she was also being controlled by how to eat and what certain thing to take and such...

Rui has full control.

crickets sounded into the night sky as (y/n) sat out onto the porch, staring up into the night sky until footsteps sounded against the creaking wood. a hand settled onto her head, making her look up and see rui. her fear seemed evident but he didn't acknowledge.

"i'll be back soon, stay out of trouble." he states and went on his way.

(y/n) waited and hour or two until deeming it alright to go get her sisters. she maneuvered around the house and found them in a room at the end of one of the halls. the three nodded and went on their way with the eldest grabbing onto the other twos hands and they ran once they reached the outside.

they ran,

and ran...

and ran....

and ran.....

lightly panting as they made their way down the mountain. the eldest looked back and smiled and the two smiled back. their so close to freedom... at least, do they thought.

they slowly came to a stop once the very person they feared stood in their path. the eldests and (y/n)'s eyes widened in shock as the new sister let go and made her way to stand beside him.

(y/n)'s and the eldests hearts broke at the betrayal as their hands grasp tightened.

"you..... why?" (y/n)'s voice trembled, taking a step back.

'Why did she do it? We were.... We were so close...'
