Almo was in ancient Roman religion the eponymous god of the small river Almo in the vicinity of Rome. He had a naiad daughter named Larunda.
In stories, Almo was usually considered heroic or fatherly. His appearance in several texts described him as handsome.
Nilus is one of 3,000 river gods, who represent the god of the Nile river itself.
He was father to several children, of these included Memphis (mother of Libya by Epaphus a king of Egypt).
