Lars being physically comfortable and *platonically* intimate with the Off-colors in ways he never was with his earth friends: (bc he used to be afraid of ruining the relationships by asking for anything)
🔸️Lars is giving Padparacha little kisses on the head when she says or does something cute. She's his little princess 👸 he treats her like a little sister, and he spoils her with little treats (earth snacks and sugary desserts!)
❣️ Rhodenite hugs him like a teddy bear whenever she gets so anxious that she's gonna have a panic attack. He holds her hands sometimes, and when they get a chance to rest, he lays on top of her like a weighted blanket. She doesn't know why it works, but it does.
💃💃 The Rutile Twins are fun, and tease him like a best friend. They ruffle his hair because they like playing with it. They pick out his clothes and dress him up like a doll. He lets them, they have very good taste, having figured out his space pirate gear
🐛 Fluorite babies him and holds him as such. He used to mind, like it ruins his tough guy image. But there's no one to impress here. She does it to everyone. And having a nap in her poofy hair is really comfy, actually.
Them hanging out in a cuddle pile, watching terrible movies and laughing. Them sneaking into secure facilities, just to mess with Emerald. Lars teaching them to bake and how to care for a human, should something happen.
🐍 One time, he and Emerald were handcuffed together on an alien world, and they had to get to know one another while trying to find a way off of it. Since then, they have had a more Lupin/Zenigata relationship. Does she let him get away more often than not? Yeah, maybe. Maybe she remembers the way they slept against a treetrunk together and the inherent trust that built. Maybe if she wants to see him wild and free like he should be, she has to let him go. If their cat and mouse game is to continue, he needs to be out where she can find him, not rotting in a jail cell.
Anyway, he's much more of a hugger now, thanks to Steven.
