Google, bir şirketi daha satın aldı!

Mobil video düzenleme uygulamaları geliştirien Fly Labs isimli şirket artıkGoogle'ın bir parçası oldu. Şirket, video düzenleme uygulamalarının son 18 ay içinde 150'den fazla ülkede 3 milyondan fazla kez indirildiğini ve 20 milyonu aşkın videonun kendi uygulamalarıyla oluşturulduğunu iddia ediyor.

Fly Labs, bu satın almayla bilikte Mountain View'da yer alan Google Fotoğraflar (Google Photos) ekibine dahil olacak. Google geçtiğimiz ay Google Fotoğraflar'ın 100 milyon aylık aktif kullanıcı sayısına ulaştığını duyurmuştu.

Arama devi, bu satın alma hamlesinin maliyetiyle ilgili henüz yorum yapmazken, Fly Labs uygulamalarının önümüzdeki üç ay boyunca ücretsiz olarak indirilebileceği açıklandı.

收購軟件商 Google Photos 功能有望加強

早前 Google 宣佈旗下的 Photos 有超過 1 億活躍用戶，這個位用戶提供無限免費相片影像儲存空間的服務，近期不斷提升和增加功能。最新的動作包括收購 iOS 軟件開發商 Fly Labs，該公司的員工已經正式進駐 Google 的總部，和 Photos 團隊一起工作。

Fly Labs 主要從事影片剪接軟件的開發，旗下的 Clips、Fly、Tempo 和 Crop on the Fly 都是受歡迎的 iOS 軟件，過去年半的下載量超過 300 萬次，透過上述軟件製作的影片數量接近 20 萬條。當中 Fly Video Editor 能夠將多段影片剪輯和加上後製效果。預計 Google 會將 Fly Labs 軟件的功能首先整合到 Photos，然後再進一步研發其他新功能，以增強影片剪接的效能。

写真や映像の編集サービスを提供するスタートアップ、Fly Labsが、Googleに買収されました。同社の開発チームは、Googleの写真チームへと加わるそうです。

過去に300万回ダウンロードを超えるなど人気のアプリを提供してきたFly Labsですが、提供してきた「Tempo」、「Fly」、「Crop」の3つのアプリは今後3ヶ月はこれまでどおり利用できるそうです。

ただ、残念なことに今後Fly Labsからのアプリリリースはなくなるそう。先日、Microsoftに買収されたカレンダーアプリのSunriseも、チームに組み込まれて独自アプリのアップデートが終わることを発表していました。
