Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
The Asteroid Field
I'll never be a fan of flying simulators, honestly. The weakest missions in this game, although strangely satisfying when I actually manage to hit something.
Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire commemorated the novel of the same name and took place between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi storylines.
The Battle of Hoth, though, was lifted directly from the Empire. Like many games of its kind, SotE does not let you control a movie protagonist, but rather presents itself from the point of view of an original character, who gets caught in the events known to the player. So here comes Dash Rendar, a Han Solo rip-off, a smartass Rebel smuggler and a space bum.
Battle of Hoth is an epilepsy warning in itself, has multiple stages and well-known Imperial weapons, like AT-AT.
