While there exists a variety of creatures in this land, the most common seems to be these tall, long-limbed entities. They haven’t seemed hostile so far, though one has approached him as he tries to get his bearings.

Wary but perceiving no threat yet, Meta Knight holds up the pamphlet he has - it’s an introductory pamphlet for new arrivals to Spirale, but it also specifies the address of a certain townhouse that he hasn’t yet found.

There’s too much to even find something to be frightened about. Hands clutched together at her breast, she stumbles away from the hole, ears flat against her head, desperate to make sense of the lights, the noise, the noise, the noise that hurts so bad like nothing she’s ever heard before.

She’s only ever read about cities, about roads, cars-- and she doesn’t realize that in her delirium, she’s stumbling out onto the road in the way of an incoming van.

After getting some information about another potential partner, Corvus has gotten ready and is stepping out of her apartment complex. This is by far the most she’s done since returning hasn’t it? Really, her plan was to live quietly while trying to find a way back home. SOME plan. 

With Feniks flying overhead and then disappearing from sight by going through some trees, Corvus adjusts the sword hanging from her back and approaches the male Feniks had set his eyes on. 

“Excuse me,” Corvus starts. Mismatched eyes studying the man in front of her, “You go by Redbean, is that right?” How odd is it to see a woman with a sword approach someone? Probably not odd at all, considering what kind of place they’re in.

The Mistwood is... probably not a good place to get distracted, but here he is. It’d be nice to have Lucretia here-- he should ask her along to document some of the flora sometime. As it stands, he’s staring down a plant he doesn’t recognize until he hears someone nearby.

“Oh, hey! What brings you to the middle of these, uh, terribly dangerous woods?” he asks, like it’s a normal type of small talk to make. “Also, d’you recognize what this plant is? I could swear I’ve seen somethin’ like it before.”

At first, Anda thought that that poor person was going to completely wipe out on the ice... but the way he recovered so gracefully made them significantly less alarmed.

＊          it’s a little shocking, to see what had always been a reminder of her people-- a close knit community with traditions that run deep-- so commonplace around the city. red beans weren’t exactly... widely available back home. but the g red bean buns remind her of the old lady from the northeast corner of the village who used to make anko based deserts, the smell of sugar very reminiscent of cold, childhood afternoons.

“w-wait, seriously??” he’s going to give up his food so easily, she can smell the redbean paste “no, no, i can’t just take your food like that. i mean--”

but he insists. weird guy... but nice.

“Bean!! Hey, I got the world tree leaf from the list.” She’s careful not to tear it as she adds it to their bag of stuff, grinning. It had taken some doing and some climbing (and some avoiding very protective birds), but she’d managed to make it out in one piece.

“What’s next on the list... a blade from a widower, or a circlet worn by an elf...”

“I guess it doesn’t count if one of us wears the circlet, huh?”
