something that really pisses me off is that people apparently cannot separate sexual attraction from any other attraction. when someone says someone is hot, that’s automatically equated to “i want to have sex with that person.” people assume you want to be with someone romantically or sexually if you think someone is pretty or gorgeous. you can’t say someone is beautiful without at least one person making the assumption that you’re feeling attraction.

not everyone feels romantic or sexual attraction. sometimes it’s aesthetic attraction you’re feeling when you say someone is beautiful or attractive or hot. sometimes you’re not even aesthetically attracted to the person. you just think they’re ATTRACTIVE.

finding someone attractive is not the same as being attracted to them.

people really need to learn the distinction between attractions, and they need to stop assuming that finding someone pretty means you want them in some way. it’s not fucking true. this shit needs to stop.

”actually i’m too hot to be annoying”

my mom regarding the dude responsible for the shooting this morning (Oct. 27th, ’18): he doesn't even look like he would do that 

me, in my head: this just in people’s appearance doesn’t predict their behavior and yes that means you were being racist every time you said a black person or middle eastern person looked like a violent criminal regardless if they actually committed a crime or not

I hate it when my ear clogs up. It’s just the worst. Not only does it feel bad and I lose some hearing, but it makes my tinnitus really loud, and it makes understanding what people are saying in loud places even harder than it already is. I’ve done ear drops, flushing it with water, using a heating pad, nothing’s working and my mom won’t let me go to the doctor for it either even though it’s been a week now.

I don’t get how someone can be a preacher and then completely neglect their kid, acting like being a parent is an optional past time. If Jesus showed up to you...he’d be really disappointed because you neglected the one person you were actually responsible for...clearly you aren’t doing what you preach.
