Fly Stitch Family belongs to the looped stitch family and is like the cousin family of the Feather Stitch family. This Family has all kinds of stitches- isolated, linear, filling, and overlapping. The isolated stitches are super fun to work with as scattered fillings too. They are used to do fillings on common motifs like leaves, and also placed in circular formations to make floral patterns. Try them out and you will find yourself experimenting in different ways with it.

Today we are learning the chain, lazy daisy, wheel/rose and fly stitches! The chain and lazy daisy are pretty much the same thing, and I really liked making roses, it was fun!
