Embroidery stitch resource!!
Fun fact for all you embroiderers out there:
The Royal School of Needlework has a FREE library with over 500 stitches in it, along with a short tutorial for each one! Very useful if you're learning about embroidery and/or want to expand your knowledge! Just found out about this today and already I'm learning a lot. <3
There are different categories of stitches, sorted by technique, use, and structure, as well as a stitch wall that has all the different kinds of stitches they've documented so far. (More are being added as time goes on.)
Each stitch has the different names it's known by, its history, and different tags on it so you can look for specific kinds of stitches, or see what applications a certain stitch has. Very cool!
Also, this is a non-profit, and they have a link to donate if you are so inclined, so that others can continue to benefit from it. <3
Hope this helps! Go forth and embroider! <3
