Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah thank you so much!! ^^;; Really!! Especially since I still kinda feel like I’m the person who broke in through the window one day and just started passionately ranting.

I first found FMA when I was 13 and my friends--hoh boy my poor friends. What good sports. I got three of them at least mildly interested in FMA, and they sat back and listened while I talked their ears off about it. I gradually learned to control my enthusiasm.

I’m in college now, and I rewatched the series with my roommates (one of whom has never seen it) and that just brought back all my love for this series 100%. Except now I have a tumblr so I decided to turn to the internet with my long-winded rants--and let me tell you I’m beyond thrilled with the attention and response ahah. Reading tags and comments and asks and engaging with genuinely-interested people has just been so awesome. Makes me love the series even more than I already did now that I’ve gone hyper-meta. The fact that you guys give me the time of day makes me feel really damn lucky.

Especially because of the Hayate part, because I really wanted to emphasize that Roy and Riza WOULD be careful about letting an animal close to their baby (even if it’s their pet - there’s always this chance of some accident happening even though they trust Hayate completely) and I kind of wanted to find a balance between emphasizing that and also showing that they DO trust Hayate to an extend (especially with supervision of course, but later on also without it). And it’s especially nerve-wrecking since you’re a vet and I don’t even own a pet to make it believable xD

I’m so, so happy and honored that you like the idea enough to incorporate it <3 Though don’t feel pressured to do it! There’s probably still some time before you get to the ending (I hope so! :D) and if there’s any change of plans, I’m TOTALLY cool with it :3

I really admire how you say what you think while remaining sincere and considerate. Thank you. So, as one stranger behind a screen to another, I would like to wish you the best in life.
