Aodh laid in his hospital bed, the TV on and playing quietly in the background. He didn’t feel like seeing anyone or talking, he just wanted to be left alone. His ribcage and leg ached, a bitter sign that the pain meds hadn’t kicked in yet. That was the worst part about being stuck in a muggle hospital.

He looked away from the TV when he heard someone at the door. “Oh, hey.” Aodh reached for the remote and turned off the show he was watching. “You doing okay?”

“Finn, guess what happened? Several times and I’ve just been so fucking swamped with work and that that I haven’t had the time to tell you.”

“Ayy, it’s that intern!” Matt shouted obnoxiously, pointing at Finn. He snaked his way through the crowd, clapping her on the shoulder once he found her. “Sup, Intern? You haven’t been drinking, have you?”
