“you ever wonder what fish think when they see a ship out here like this?”
it’s the most random thought that’s occurred in her mind but as she’s standing on the board, arms hanging off the rails, and looking out into the massive ocean that’s surrounding them, she can’t help but wonder. blame it on her fatigue from the concert the previous day as well as everything else her and her fellow idols have been put through for the purpose of the event. the waves are acting as a form of comfort but other than that, the cruise hadn’t been exactly the fun adventure that she’d initially been looking forward to when she heard the plans of the trip.
“like it’s so massive to my eyes that i can’t help but wonder how big it is to them?” at this point, she wouldn’t be surprised if the person standing besides her simply decided to walk away because this doesn’t sound like a conversation she’d like to have either. rather than taking a look at them, she continues to look out into the open, catching sight of the coastline of some standalone island. quickly, she makes a mental note to herself: take a nap later if you want to stop talking nonsense.
[ARTICLE] CRUISE REALITY SHOW ANNOUNCED TO BE FILMED DURING HOLIDAY TRIPLE FANTASY TOUR
Representatives from BC Entertainment, Dimensions Entertainment, and Gold Star Media have confirmed that tickets have officially sold out for the upcoming previously announced Hallyu Triple Fantasy Asia Tour. The tour will include concerts in three cities featuring the entirety of both companies’ artist rosters and follows behind previous Hallyu Triple Fantasy concerts in Japan in 2017 and Jeju in 2018.
Additionally, it has been announced that the artists will take a cruise ship between cities and will be filming a reality show while on the cruise ship together. The reality show will be released exclusively through base Online for fans who purchase it.
The concerts will take place December 25, December 28, and December 31.
ADMIN NOTES:
Our latest event is a mix between a concert event and a variety show filming event. The idols under all three companies will be going on a three-city concert tour together and they will be traveling between each destination on a small ~300 guest capacity hybrid cruise ship. There’s a reason behind their odd method of travel, as they will be filming a cross-company reality show during their travels on the ship between ports.
On the cruise ship, idols will be booked two to a room with roommates. They will be able to either submit their choice of roommate two weeks before the cruise or, if they do not, they will be paired randomly. Idols will be required to stay with idols that are, by the organizers’ assumption, of the same sex. Room layouts will vary slightly, but a general idea of suite layouts can be found here and visual references can be found here, here, here, here, here, and here. Additionally, the ship includes a bar, a beauty salon & spa, an indoor pool and hot tubs, a fitness center, an observation lounge, a small library, a card and game room, and a theatre. The cruise also includes four dining options: a combination American & Korean BBQ grill restaurant, an Italian restaurant, a French fine dining restaurant, and a sushi restaurant.
The general outline of the schedule of the event is as follows.
December 25: Hong Kong - Concert Day
December 26: At Sea
December 27: Taipei, Taiwan
December 28: Taipei, Taiwan - Concert
December 29: At Sea
December 30: At Sea
December 31: Busan, South Korea - Concert
January 1: Busan, South Korea
For more details on the full schedule, please see here.
Any promotional activities planned for the time from December 25 through January 1 will be pre-recorded before leaving (note that many music shows don’t air that week anyway).
Please keep in mind that while a significant portion of the time during the event, muses are being filmed for the reality show, nothing obviously scandalous would make the cut of the final show. On occasions where the crew is only following some idols, they will not follow those doing anything inappropriate for the light-hearted, clean tone of the show.
Please also note that on days at sea, everyone on board will have internet access limited to social media, news sites, and search engines. Idols will have to pay extra to access high bandwidth sites like YouTube and Netflix through the ship’s wifi while at sea. Phone calls and texting while at sea will result in high fees from service providers.

“happy birthday to me!” yuanjun yelled to no one in particular, sliding into the huge, open space of the central hall of the cruise ship. there was no need to be this loud, everyone around was minding their own damn business and truly, yuanjun should too. but, as he had so subtly stated, it was his birthday, 21 fine years on this earth and bc was making the huge mistake of letting him celebrate it with a day off on international waters. surely that was a recipe for disaster. “you know what, i gotta admit, bc kinda pulled through organizing all this for my birthday.” at this point, yuanjun had turned to the nearest person, whether they felt up to dealing with him or not, they’d have to manage now. and of course, yuanjun knew none of this was for him or about him but hey, he was on a huge cruise ship and it was his birthday, why would he not pretend those things held any relation to one another? “so... what are we doing for my birthday huh?” apparently, there was a we now.
“i’m feeling extra generous since it’s my birthday so anything you want to do tonight?”
after what was an extremely busy day, suji understands if people would rather stay back on the ship and get some rest. there had been filming yesterday and then the whole holiday ball that was required to attend for some reason. however, today had been mostly a free day though everybody was stuck on the ship for quite a while as it travelled. now that they docked in taipei, she decided that she wasn’t going to spend her birthday night all cramped up in her room in the ship. sure, there was lots to do on there, but she knows that exploring the city is the better option.
“i’m even paying! as long as you can find our way back to the ship after everything. i’m not the best with directions even with the navigation on my phone,” she admits with a light chuckle, turning her head towards the person besides her. though she’s unsure if they had plans already, she was hoping that they’d at least allow some time for her. she’d already half-guilt tripped them with the mention of her birthday.

it’s five minutes to midnight and sunghee’s been standing outside for long enough that the cold barely even registers. the lack of a more strict dress code for the new year’s eve party in particular means sunghee’s wearing their comfiest jeans, sweater and coat. standing in the middle of the deck of a cruise ship is not really how sunghee expected to welcome the new year. granted, at the beginning of 2020 they assumed it’s more likely unity would be present at the end of the year gayo, entering 2021 just after or before performing on stage. this seems relatively chill in comparison. just knowing there’s no obligation, no work for them to do still, and they can just allow themselves to enjoy the moment means… a lot.
sunghee’s never watched fireworks if not through the tv. the sound they make is undoubtedly enough to throw them off, especially as it comes when you least expect it. it’s the reason they have earphones, currently not playing any music, as they wait for the fireworks to start. if the mere sight of them is too much, sunghee will close their eyes and just… try to absorb the atmosphere, the happiness of the people around them. maybe they should’ve gone after one of their members, or someone they know but – they are all busy, sunghee knows. they decide to move some place else, closer to the doors to the inside of the ship in case it does become too overwhelming to them. as they do so, though, they manage to slip on something on the floor and the fear of falling down on their ass is enough for them to reach out and grab the person closest to them. “i’m so sorry!” as soon as they are more stable, they take a step back and bow. “sorry! i wasn’t paying attention where i was walking.”
the holiday ball, december 26th / #fmdfantasycruise
“is this festive enough?” dowoon always thought that a ball should be something fancy, like the halloween party a couple of months back. he guesses it still somewhat is, by means of the cruise ship’s extravagance, even if he’s not completely suitably dressed for the occasion. the closest thing that he packed to being both festive and ball appropriate was a dark red flannel. he threw it on over a standard dowoon pair of slacks and called it a day, daring to venture out of his suite and into the party. his only intention was to show his face and be done with it, but the ball seemingly spans every possible part of the ship. running into others on his way back to the suite is inevitable. it’s fine, he’s not as socially stiff as he might’ve been after grabbing himself a drink. “it’s definitely not ball-y enough.” because balls like this are fucking balls. this ball does feature a swimming pool though, so maybe anything goes.
“y’know, i keep thinking a staff member’s gonna throw me out if they catch me this dressed down.” dowoon laughs, mostly to himself, at the prospect. he still isn’t too keen on the idea of causing trouble. it’s not the kind of problem that would impact him after tonight, so it isn’t a big deal, but dowoon’s primarily interested in keeping his rap sheet squeaky clean. he’s pretty sure the last thing on it is a... fight dating back to charm’s debut era. “but i’m going straight to bed after this anyways, so whatever.”

inyeong has never gotten to attempt any type of sightseeing in taipei. as much as her phone can mostly help her navigate around the city, she doesn’t speak the language and is less than enthused about the possibility of not knowing how to navigate around the place. after an entire day stuck inside a ship, with less than interesting entertainment to rely on, inyeong was bored and rushed to go outside as soon as they were docked and allowed to do so. she checks in on an hotel then decides she might as well try to go shopping – inyeong doesn’t speak mandarin, sure, but when money is involved, it’s not like she needs to.
if circumstances were different (as in, if she had more money than she actually does) inyeong would’ve gone on a proper shopping spree. as it is, she’s barely carrying two bags when she steps out of a store and notices it’s already dark. exactly as inyeong expected, she has no actual idea of where she is, and is tempted to try to catch a cab without knowing how much it’d cost until she sees the face of someone she knows. “hey you!” she calls them out, rushing towards them. “yes, you! are you staying here in taipei or are you going back to the ship? do you know where we are? can you speak mandarin? can you help me find my hotel? my phone’s ran out of battery,” no, it hasn’t. she just doesn’t want to be alone. “and i have no idea where we are.”

drinks were flowing and the mood was festive. parties were never normally something that hyunsoo was a huge fan of; it was more than often that you would be able to find him hidden to the side, enjoying watching the crowd and getting some quiet to himself, but today was different. this was the end of the year, a time to celebrate the fact that he managed to survive yet another year on earth and in this darn industry. it was okay to let loose a little sometimes. cradling a drink in his hands, hyunsoo had found his way out to the deck in search of some fresh air once things had started getting a little wild inside - he had an 11:45am fan signing the next day and he wasn’t sure how he was going to survive it, let alone those poor unfortunate souls who were probably going to be nursing a hangover. leaning against the railing slightly, hyunsoo appreciate the smell of the ocean and the sea breeze, allowing himself to feel content for the first time in ages before noticing another figure nearby. “can you believe we’re all getting another year older at midnight?” he laughed quietly, crinkling his nose at the thought. “my birthday was literally two weeks ago and i’m already ageing again.”
