concerned starters: send a sentence, get a drabble.  

Once he decided to step out of the house, things led him to a different path of danger, when all he wanted was a casual night walk with a dear company. Avoiding any thoughts of an unusual occasion where he received random gifts left on the door or anonymous phone call at night, apparently, it had escalated to a further daring act of following him during his day-offs. The company had put the public warning about it, but those who were stubborn would refuse to use their senses and pursue their desire even though it was against the law. What had become his biggest concern Ruan was involved in it.

Sanghyun grabbed her wrist and refused to let her go any further. “let’s not do that. it seems dangerous,” he suggested, giving her a concerned look. “let’s find another way to go from here. please? I don’t want anything to happen to you.”

ignoring the sharp pain radiating from her ankle up her leg was easier said than done, if she were truthful. practicing wasn’t usually this bad, but she had twisted her ankle earlier in the week while learning the group’s newest choreo and it hadn’t quite been the same since. her movements were always so smooth, graceful, but now she just felt clunky and awkward, trying to avoid aggravating it while still keeping as much normality as she possibly could. sanghyun calling her on it was unnecessary and unwanted — ruan had to bite her tongue to keep from snapping at him over it, annoyed that it was so plain to see she wasn’t at her best, that she normally was better than this. “it’s fine,” she said through gritted teeth, pushing herself up from the training room floor. “just needs ice later, that’s all.”

Sanghyun believed no matter how talented one was, they would hit a certain limit once they reached a certain level. He believed it was one’s journey to continue to learn and pursue the greater version of themselves. But even for someone as passionate as Ruan, they could crumble too when they refused to catch some breath. He clicked his tongue, questioning her stubbornness.

 without losing eye contact, Sanghyun observed her behavior and words. although he was not gifted enough to interpret the smallest expression one was showcasing, at the very least Sanghyun understood the resistance she put up against the pain. Her ankle was basically swollen when Sanghyun looked down to her foot. “Your ankle is swollen,” Sanghyun repeated his thought, offering an arm for her to lean on. “That’s not fine at all. How about sitting down for now and I’ll get the ice for you?”

👀 how do you think you fair as the main vocal of the group now? 

i think it’s kind of hard to gauge how much of peoples’ encouragement is pure bias and how much is genuine praise for my skill. i won’t delude myself - i know i’m not goeun, but i think lil’ touch especially gave me a chance to show my growth. 

👀 if you had to debut in a group under another company which would you choose 

i think fuse would be fun. their concepts are very fun, and i like their mature side. i don’t think fans would react well to another new member, though - they didn’t even like naomi at first, which i can’t fathom.

👀 how do you deal with stress

mostly, i don’t. it’s. :-) fine :-)

👀 what is your faovirte solo activitiy to date

“no doubt my first solo album. while mc-ing and singing ost’s are amazing as well, the amount of work that went into my album is something i’ll never be able to forget.”

talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, showstop - i mean, she’s one of my favorite people! you know how you’ve got those cousins you’re always super excited to have come over for family functions? well me neither, i never had that, but what i’ve heard that’s just what ruan is like to me! we get into a bit of trouble together but i love her company.

“probably…aria? don’t get me wrong, i’ll love mr. chu until the day i die, but they’re even cutesier than us to me? and personally, that’s just not my style, so if i had the choice i’d steer clear. plus, i don’t really know how well my skills would fit into the group.”

“i’m kind of drifting around right now, but it’s getting easier to see where i want to go! i really hope bc will let me start making meaningful songs, i think more than anything i’ve realized i want to do things that impact fans the most? so i assume songwriting could be a big part of that, it’d be fun! but aside from that, it’s my goal to expand in to acting! that’s totally out my comfort zone, but i do want to see what i could do with it and grow.”

I was taught some breathing technique which works efficiently when I’m starting to feel stress. And then I’ll withdraw from the situation for a moment before I get back in, because I know I can be overly emotional when I’m cornered. Rather than keeping it to myself, later on, I’ll discuss it on private to anyone I can trust, at least Seungwoo hyung to help me sort out my feelings.
