Jihoon wasn’t one to spill his guts. He happily welcomed people coming to him and telling them all about their problems, but him going to other people and spilling all his dark secrets? He could never do that. Or at least he thought that he wouldn’t be able to. Until now. His secret had been burning a hole in the pit of his stomach. He’d been hiding it for so long that it was beginning to physically become uncomfortable for him to hold it in. The nightmares getting worse, the daydreams were getting worse. Maybe talking about it would make things better?
Which was how he found himself outside of Siyoung’s apartment. The two of them, although most people wouldn’t know, were surprisingly close because of Sian’s relationship with his older sister. He was the older brother that his actual older brother never was, which was why he had decided to go to him before going to anyone else. He’d knocked on the door as soon as he arrived, and didn’t have to wait too long before it was opened. He ducked his head down, to avoid bumping it against the doorframe, and stepped inside. “Hello, hyung,” he greeted, before pacing back and forth in his living room.
“I really need to talk to somebody and I didn’t want to go to anyone else before coming to you,” he started off, his eyes staying on the ground as he continued pacing. “When I tell you, you have to promise me that you won’ t tell anyone else, okay? That this will just stay between the two of us. Nobody can know. Not Yua, not Jisoo, not Jia. Especially not Jia. Promise? Please.”
