From the window of the company building it looked as though it was a beautiful day. It was later in the afternoon, the sun was shining and there wasn't a cloud to be seen. There was, however, the familiar polluted haze that lingered over the city's horizon line. When Taekyeong hopped out of the taxi he had used to get to the Han River, he was met with the intense weight of Korea's humidity. The actual 35°C heat didn't bother the Australian, but the humidity had him wrinkling his nose a little as he made his way to the park.

He checked his phone to see if his Hyung had sent any new messages to indicate that he was on his way.

Nothing new as of yet. Taekyeong huffed through his black face mask and adjusted the black ballcap on his head to get a better view of the water from where he stood. The spot he had chosen was a little far too actually enjoy the sight of the river, but it was far from the majority of the civilians and potential fans that were in the area.

He slipped his phone into his pocket and rose his head up to survey the area for any sign of Wooshik. When at last he spotted the familiar figure, Taekyeong rose his hand into the air and gave a friendly wave while walking to meet him. After a moment he remembered his manners and bent his torso to give a proper bow before extending his hand for a quick shake.

“Hyung! Long time no see! Thanks for coming to meet with me.”

when she was younger, yujin remembers always begging for an older brother. sure, she had her older sister, but yumin was smaller and weaker than she was. there was no feeling of protection both physically and emotionally. the numerous dramas and movies didn’t help either. the way those older brothers would look upon their younger sisters lovingly, with hearts floating out of their eyes. perhaps all she really wanted was some real affection. 

a few years later, her older brother came in the form of kwon wooshik. a friend of her sister’s, he would pop up at her house a few times at first, and then his presence became so familiar that she couldn’t recall dinners without him. his presence was exactly what she’d been begging her parents for. 

it was a miracle that they managed to stay in touch with him moving up to seoul first, and her running up afterwards. wooshik was one of those fragments of busan that she kept close to her heart; the memories that didn’t make her cry late at night. there was nothing sentimental about their current meeting, but she couldn’t help but get lost in her own thoughts while he continued speaking in front of her. 

“oppa, how much will you hate me if i admit that i haven’t been listening to a single word you said?”

Samsoo was known within Unity’s fandom to be a huge fan of girl groups, and while he did voice his respect and admiration of his senior boy groups and a few other guy groups who had popped up since his own debut, he mostly spoke about girl groups - especially his ultimate favorite girl group, Aria. But what many people didn’t know was that he did have a favorite boy group, and a favorite male idol. Decipher had been one of the first boy groups he had ever gotten into, and their leader, Kwan, had always been the object of Soo’s affections when it came to that group. He was definitely the younger male’s celebrity crush, had been ever since Decipher debuted, and it hadn’t waned over the years. Getting the opportunity to share a meal with him was the last thing he ever expected to happen, but there he was. “Ah, thank you for treating me to lunch, sunbaenim.. You really don’t have to, I can pay for myself.”

     duri had taken a quick look upon his phone, just to go over the list of the things they needed. wooshik and duri had been tasked with getting some things for the housewarming party; which wasn’t too bad, to be quite honest. it was going to be pretty easy and shopping probably wasn’t going to be too bad either. however, it was probably going to be quite interesting with the fact that they were being followed by a camera, being pretty sure there wasn’t going to be anything incredibly exciting about shopping. however, maybe it was just going to be good conversation with one of his greatest friends, aka wooshik. 

they were walking along, his phone going back into his pocket. “where do you think we should go that would be the easiest?” he asked, looking upon the elder. “we don’t have that much to get, but it’s still a decent amount!”

why couldn’t their party have been the one at night? minhee guesses their house, with its big windows and ample fresh air, is more suited to brunch-y vibes, so she’ll concede that their morning party was a good idea but ... you can’t really party before eight pm. she knows she can’t get really drunk or anything at this either, but she can have one drink, right? to that end, minhee has a glass of champagne in hand as she looks around house two. it’s nice, she thinks, though she prefers their house’s style. 

after a few seconds of looking, minhee sees a familiar face, a senior labelmate. decipher’s wooshik. she gives him a big wave and skips over to him. “wooshik, how are doing? how much of this party was prepared by you, huh?”

👀 do you feel like impulse has already reached their peak, or do you think you can go further?

I think we’ve started to become a little more popular recently… so I think there’s a chance that we can push ourselves to do even bigger and better things. We’re always looking for ways to improve ourselves as performers and musicians!

👀 did you like promoting as a soloist more than promoting as a member of wish?

“it’s so different. i love performing with the girls because i worry less about mistakes with them. but i think i prefer solo performances because it puts me more out of my comfort zone and i think that’s a good place to be at this point in my career.”
