Hey so, new mini theory. We all know how in the security logbook (pg #49) Micheal lists "chewing gum excessively" as a bad habit he'd like to break. I found this weird though because chewing gum is a weird bad habit to have. Started thinking about it and... what if Micheal's addiction isn't to the gum itself? I think Micheal has a nicotine addiction and that the gum he mentioned is nicotine gum. Think about it, the logbook is from the early 2000s- late 2010s, which was when the public perspective on smoking would have changed, and seeing as Micheal grew up in the smoke filled 80s, I think it's plausible he was a smoker and switched to nicotine gum because it's wasn't acceptable to smoke at work anymore.
