I wanted to ask since you’re the OG fnaf fan. Where did this come from? I always see people depicting Freddy and foxy being enemies always fighting each other arguing and whatever. Where did that come from exactly? Because I had no idea Freddy and foxy hated each other.

Okay, so, when Fnaf first came out there wasn't an excessive amount to go on about the characters, and the characters who people were interested were pretty much Mike and the animatronics... And Phone Guy. Purple Guy wasn't around yet.

In that brief window between 1 and 2, Foxy quickly became a fan-favorite that led to a variety of interpretations. Freddy and the gang all being a friendly unit was common, but a sort of distinction between Foxy and the others cropped up.

Being a fan favorite, Foxy did occasionally get the status of 'the good one'. Something that was heightened by a joke theory that said Foxy's jumpscare was different because he wasn't attacking Mike, just scaring him when checking in on him. There was also the plotline where Foxy's damaged state was assumed to be from the other animatronics.

Freddy and Foxy's assumed rivalry pretty much stemmed from two ideas: the idea that Foxy was the good animatronic and/or the idea that the leader and the pirate would butt heads. A lot of the time the latter still left Freddy and Foxy on civil terms, they would just squabble.

Now, apparently all of this did get noticed or was just guessed really well, because UCN introduced the joke cutscenes of "Bear of Vengeance", in which Freddy and Foxy duel each other in feudal Japan in an anime parody.

So, that's it! It was a matter of making due with what you had and fan favoritism- and I think it was pretty commendable. Seriously, the first game didn't have a super lot to work with and yet there was so much that came out in the fan community. It was really neat!

Why are people comparing Glitchtrap possessing/controlling Vanny to DID and other similar mental heath conditions? You guys are aware that Vanny doesn't have DID right? She's not mentally ill and nor is she being portrayed as such, Vanny is literally possessed/controlled by a computer program from a video game.

Not so friendly reminder that people are allowed to love, adore and even romanticize William Afton to their hearts content, people who give you shit for doing so are hypocritical morons that need to stop sticking their nose in other peoples buisness.

Enjoy William how ever much you want to and in what ever way you want to, you are valid and it’s not harming anyone because he’s not real and nor are his actions.

To those who insist on giving people shit over loving a fictional character aka a character who isn’t real and who’s actions aren’t real and thus they have harmed a total of zero people, get your obnoxious and hypocritical ass off that  damned high horse and find something better to do with your time.
