The Foam Sword of Brad Starlight

Check out this EVA foam sword of Sir Brad Starlight as seen in "The Hero." This is my first WOY cosplay prop I made. The stripes around the grip are made by using pieces of electrical tape. I used a garden stake from The Home Depot as the sword's core.

Finally finished the sword, bracers, and tiara for my She-Ra Sona cosplay!! Worbla and foam were the materials I used, 10/10 would make again.

Can you really fight with sword and shield?

So I can't fight with REAL swords n shields. In theory I could??

But I partake in something called Amtgard.

Its a medival larp using foam padded weapons and defense. I like to fight melee meaning I'm more comfortable being up close and personal with my opponent.

Anyway, I'm not big with other weapons, I like having the shield to give me some cover.

That being said I'm not the best at it. I'm a bit rusty since I dont own my own shield. A friend of mine however made me a sword.

I GOT MY ZENITSU SWORD TODAY!! And the contacts but after 10+ tries of trying to get them in I gave up so hopefully later this week I'll be able to show u guys the contacts in
