          Theta took the offered cigarette and made a noncommittal 'hm' noise as he slid it between his lips, tilting his head just so and lifting an eyebrow as he lit it. It was only after he'd taken a long drag of it that he spoke again, the smoke curling out of his lips and slithering upward and onward into the wind as he leaned back against the door of the car.

          "I know how to jumpstart a car, but knowing how to do it is only half the battle. It requires connecting my car to another car that's got a charged battery and as you can see..." He lifted a hand and looked around in the near-total darkness, barely a streetlight in the rolling hills he'd been driving along to get to the party. "We're not exactly spoiled for choice."

          His voice wasn't mean, rather just annoyed with the situation in general. Though if they were going to be stuck out there, he was damn sure going to break into the party favors he'd brought along with them. "I'm fairly certain we won't be finding a phone anywhere close by, either, so our only option may be to walk... somewhere."

“What? No of course not…” Liar, echoed his thoughts back at him as the words left his lips without a moments hesitation as it was instinct to hide the injury. The Master was a prideful man and there was something rather horrid about the notion of admitting he had been hurt, hide the pain, yes that seemed like a far better plan.

“I’m sure it’s nothing.” 

Crimson stained the Time Lord’s white dress shirt, what started off as a small splattering of blood had blossomed into a mess which seeped and soaked into the entire right side of his chest. It was becoming too large to hide under the cover of his blazer, peaking out from where the Master had hoped it would be out of sight.

"jenna wanted to go drinking and then they wanted to go to mars in the 45th century, but mars was at war with pluto then, so we compromised and when in the 32nd century, in the middle of a time of peace, and i know for a  f a c t  that they put ginger in each of my drinks, and--” they gasped and winced as the aching in their head increased.

  Fortunately, this was not a common occurrence. The Doctor was on a short supply run for COMPANY, and was DRY of adventures. But, hidden alcohol in the roundels was something he was n o t.   Flash forward a few hours, and he was G O N E, stuttering around the console with a meander that would prove that real life LAG existed. He’s been bumbling around with a drink in his hand for a while, and the trail he was leaving behind wasn’t that of biscuit crumbs. Idris was going to HATE HIM.   He’s now running around the console, pretending that he had that c o m p a n y to go on an adventure with, pulling all the neutral levers (and holding onto them for DEAR LIFE). He did a half-twirl-fall, (funnily enough, this was well choreographed to the blaring track: A LITTLE RESPECT) and ended up perched on the brim of the console, leaning on one of his elbows, the other hand over his eyes; to dim the blinding light of the TARDIS - to see a f i g u r e.    “O u h --” he mumbled, and winced at how h a r d he had come down onto his elbow, and in aggravation that he was still, but the world was N O T. “Wh’ve-” he forgot he owned a TONGUE for a minute, and slurred with all his might: “G o d? Is this IT? Hav-have you finallyforsakenme-” the last of his words got LOST in translation, as he finally, fully submerged from the console and slid onto the glass floor. The Doctor sat there, defeated. At H O M E. But the WHO was still a mystery - forgotten to him by n o w...

“and you’ve come back at a very strange time in mine. i’m still cross with you.” and he is. he’s furious. but there’s also a strange relief because he’s getting two friends back in one. there is rory... and there is the master. only now they’re one. he doesn’t know exactly how to process that.

Getting caught in an not-so-doctor-y act was uncommon for her. She had only been caught once, and that was by someone who was actually encouraging her to let herself be free. But this time? She hadn’t been expecting it. She gripped the shovel in her hand, her eyes focused on the grave of that creature before her. The man had hurt someone that she had cared about. She had killed him, but apparently it wasn’t enough.

She turned the shovel, and gave the stone one last whack. The rest of the grave fell to the ground in pieces, scattered in the soil. And that was when she heard a twig snap. Eyes widening, she turned in her place, raising the shovel in her hand as she looked at the being that had practically crept up on her.

“...Rory?” The shock was evident. She lowered the shovel, letting the weight drop behind her as she swung it back to rest loosely in her hand.

“What...” Play it cool, play it cool. Act natural. Right? Right. He was probably set before she had lost them. “You’re out late, aren’t ya? Graveyard at night? Didn’t know you were that creepy. Where’s Amy?”

“You need to pay attention to me. Because I love you. And because if you don’t I’ll be extremely cross.”

“Well, If I didn’t have reason to pay attention to you before, I most certainly do now,” he replied in a playfully serious tone. “I’m all yours, Koschei. What shall you do now that you have me?”
