Happy Magickal Monday fam!! Comparison is truly a thief of joy. It’s such a waste energy and is something that I catch myself doing when I’m scrolling on these interwebz😭 🕸 I mean think about it, when we see people who have reached goals we’re currently working toward, it’s hard not to feel like we’re slacking or should work harder. But mannn fuck that! When this happens, we have to remember who the hell we are. 🕸 There’s no comparing to someone who hasn’t lived our lives, had our experiences, has our same exact interests and personalities, because we are ALL on different paths even if that person is in the same niche as you. Yes, their grass might seem greener but we need to tend to our garden instead of focusing on theirs. 🕸 And that’s another thing too: we just gotta be happy for people and their success. They were once in our position and know exactly what it’s like to work hard on their passions, and that fact doesn’t change just because they’ve grown significantly. We can still admire their work, remember that our work is valid and growing, and be happy that they’ve achieved their dreams, just like we will when the time comes💫 🕸 I know it’s difficult y’all, but remember that their formula to success will not look like yours and that’s the best part! My Relationship has Ended because he was NOT the Man I thought he was . I had to take out a AVO or too my American Friends a Order of Protection.... because he made Death threats because I left him. Don’t let ANY Man treat you badly . It would be threats or intimidation...... or actually Physical, Sexual, Emotional Abuse . Too Say I am shattered is an understatement but I had to do it for MY Own Safety . He was Arrested last night and I was moved to a different location... but I’m living in fear . Domestic Violence is NOT OK . I feel so beaten down after EVERYTHING that has happened theses past months I really Don’t feel like carrying on ... but there is something in me that keeps going & I still believe in the Goodness of People . I won’t be in a Relationship for a Very long time now because I just don’t TRUST ANY Man . And I have a lot on my plate Again. Not saying anything for a couple of months.
