“the birds don’t care whether the bears are listening, they just sing” as a variant of a phrase in the IYB-verse
first bit of art ive made for my original works and first meme
long journey home au where everyone is fine and good and they desert successfully and carter walks dusty and his child back to his hometown and maybe bon/boux is alive and comes along and is treated like a son and maybe carter is like dusty’s real partner and mate and the most important person that’s not his mother or children and it’s not necessarily romantic but also not not romantic and they choose to stay together or carter promises to always come back for him
not me doing some reconstructing of an entire (basic plan) of a story
so i LOVE exploring the concept of the afterlife and how the living relate to it and in the manner of which they believe their deceased loved ones are existing and exploring the feelings and such of dead characters and structures of the afterlife and how it could be so so flawed even for a heaven
but ive decided that in my most recent story, which is so rife with death that pretty much all but one of the characters that aren’t villains or background characters are dead, that i should put in a very different viewpoint
one that believes that after death there is absolutely nothing. the dead no longer think, no longer feel, no longer anything, because they’re dead. and im going to assign this to my one surviving character, who has to know that none of the people he met and talked to and formed camaraderie with are there anymore. that they do not want him to move on because they do not want anything. that he was the one that made some of them never think or feel or love again
thinking about henry carter and shohei sensōryū ketsuekiryū and unnamed main character today
no because kiss me son of god by they might be giants would be PERFECT for an iyb animatic that tells the story but I CANT DRAW NOR ANIMATE
oc hours again… some accurate handpicked quotes i got from here
