My American Murder Song limited edition box set came in today and it’s absolutely gorgeous! The amount of effort put into the box set is stunning and I love just looking at it. Also the box smells like wood and I love it.

For those who don’t know, American Murder Song is a collab between Terrance Zdunich (Repo! The Genetic Opera, The Devil’s Carnival series) and Saar Hendelman. The two worked with each other on the second Devil’s Carnival film and it’s amazing hearing them together on these tracks. These two have amazing talent and I’m excited for every new project that’s announced.

American Murder Song is hard to describe, but I suggest looking at their YouTube channel to listen to some of the songs. They’re murder ballad songs that are set in America 1816, and each tell their own story. If you love that sort of thing or are just curious in general, I urge you to check them out. I’ve been listening to them nonstop since I opened it up. :)
