Typography.

It appears that #typography is trending today. We know not how, or why. But we won't argue. What is clear is that there are a whole lot of y'all—millions, even—who understand that it is not just what you say that matters, but how it is said. So say it. Say it well, and say it with style. White space is your weapon. Be exact in your spacing. Choose your font wisely.

Tumblr apparently considers the biggest font a title because when people reblog that post, your notes say "_____ reblogged [whatever is written in the biggest font].

As usual, @staff, thanks for providing a feature no one needs, because we don't use it that way, because you have never once explained how it works.

I found this handy code while trying to compromise on font size for a skin I’m designing. Apparently the font sizes I choose aren’t “aesthetic” and are “too big” because I have old lady eyes xD

If you’re a skin designer and insist on 12pt font or smaller, I’m begging you, please use a code like this to let me make the font size bigger. I can’t count the forums I didn’t join bc the font was too small and I wasn’t gonna zoom in every time just to see it.

I am begging you not to use tiny fonts in your designs, comics, gifsets, and posts. Please especially do not hard-set font sizes with code. I don’t even have THAT severe of eye issues and my vision is 20/20 with glasses but tiny font causes eyestrain no matter what.

I go to your blogs to read a fic and have to adjust the font size manually in order to read the damn thing; if I see a gifset with tiny font I just pass it over, don’t even try to read it, and don’t reblog because fuck you, I’m not giving myself a headache no matter how pretty the gifs are.

And some of you purposely make the font in your main posts smaller on purpose too!! STOP DOING THIS.
