Foolish and Mariana are SO FUNNY TOGETHER
i missed them
Fooriana
"I still hate you."
Foolish stopped moving, staring blankly ahead. Mariana was likely going to bleed out in his arms, but at this point he couldn't care. "You literally left me. You broke my heart. And you hate me?"
He looked down, looking angry. Mariana just smirked, reaching up and cradling Foolish's face in his hands. He nodded. "From the moment I met you, querido."
I have a crack hc that Mariana and Foolish was the couple who broke up right before going on a vacation, but the tickets were expensive so they went anyway. And now they're fucking stuck on an island being treated like lab rats
Sleepover (bts)
Foolish sighed as the kids finally settled down and drifted into fitful sleep. He awkwardly glanced at the other man beside him, feeling out of his element now that the children were asleep. The story Mariana told brought up some memories he would have rather stayed in the past.
Mariana was looking at Juanaflippa with sorrowful eyes, his fingers running through her unbraided hair as he hummed a gentle song. He looked lost, upset, and worried. Foolish didn't know what to say. But he had to try anyway. He was the host, after all.
"Hey, um, would you like something to drink?" He whispered.
The humming stopped, and the room was filled with awkward silence. Mariana sighed. "Sure. Whatever."
Foolish attempted to smile, only to produce a small grimace. He led them to the kitchen and took out some of Vegetta's favorite wine. He wouldn’t mind, surely.
"So... what have you been up to lately?" He asked as he handed Mariana a glass.
The other man shrugged as he gulped it all down in one go. "Nothing much. Still with Slime, for some reason. We just fight all the time." He said after drinking.
This time, Foolish did grimace. "Ah, I'm really sorry to hear that-"
Mariana cut him off with another sigh. "Cut the bullshit, Foolish. You don’t get to feel anything about what's happening to me. This is all your fault."
Foolish realed back at the sudden outburst, glad that Leo's room was a floor above the kitchen. "What the fuck? What do you mean it's all my fault? You've barely talked to me since we got to this island!"
"Exactly! We are on this island! If it weren't for you, I wouldn't even be here in the first place. Now we're stuck, and we have kids, and I'm in this shitty marriage I can't leave because for some reason I still love Slime!" Mariana shouted back, slamming his glass on the counter harshly. Foolish was surprised it didn't break then and there.
"You were the one who wanted to go here! And it's not my problem that you have a horrible marriage!" He snapped back.
"Well, YOU were the one who bought the tickets!"
"THEN WHY DID YOU COME?"
"BECAUSE I WANTED TO GO AND I HAD A WAY TO GO! Why did you come?!"
"Because it was my money, asshole! I wasn't just gonna let it go to waste! You know how much that shit cost?"
"It was my idea!"
"THAT LITERALLY MAKES NO SENSE-"
The two men immediately stopped fighting when they heard the sound of the elevator doing it's job. Just a few seconds later, a distraught looking Leo walked into the room, her tiny golden totem toy clutched in their little hands.
Foolish glared one last time at Mariana before he made his way to Leo. "Hey, Leo, what's up? Did you have a bad dream?"
Leo nodded as she wrapped her arms around her father. Foolish cooed as he scooped them up and standing.
"Sorry, Mariana. I have to cut our conversation short. You can have some more wine, don't wait on me. You know where the guest room is when you're done. Goodnight."
Mariana watched silently as the father and child disappeared through the elevator. A deep wound in his heart ached at the coldness of his voice. He chuckled humorlessly to himself as he poured more wine into his glass.
He felt like an idiot. Maybe he was. Maybe he always will be
