This song brings back such a strong sense of nostalgia for my uni days, which is ironic since I didn't actually enjoy them all that much! Deaf Havana used to play in my hometown quite often back then. Then I met a guy from Norfolk who went with me to see them in Cambridge, just a couple of months after I graduated. Fast forward 10 years, and we're still together. Last year, I was lucky enough to catch their acoustic set at Download, and I was blown away by how incredible James' voice still is. I used to play Fools and Worthless Liars on repeat, but there's something so authentic and raw about this song—it will always be a favourite.
