Here's a spoiler: Tea ☕ Tea ☕ Tea ☕ I don't even exaggerate. Almost every Farseer book so far has tea brewing in every chapter. Oh you don't have tea leaves? Just throw in some plants you off the side of the road. I absolutely LOVE it. ------------------------------------------------ Now. On to the actual plot of #FoolsQuest, the second book in the #FitzAndTheFool trilogy: The curse of this book is that so much happens! Things we've wanted for AGES! Like starlings song (!!!!!FINALLY!!!!), bloody savage assassinations, forming of a new crew, new disguises and costumes. I am a HUGE fan of Ash and Perseverance they make everything so much better. And I do NOT like Nettle. Hands down she pisses me off so bad. (If it wasn't for Dwalia and that degenerate band of rapists and the uglies who held the Fool for so long, she'd be at the top of the list) The reason I say 'curse' is because all this happened and YET still the book felt like it was waiting...just waiting. Perhaps for a coming showdown, perhaps for a conclusion, prehaps for resolutions. So many scenes of packing away a life. Scenes of remembering old memories and mistakes. They make it all seemed so final and it makes me as a reader tentative to read on. I'm not ready for a last book :'( Brewing some more tea seems the best thing to do right now. _________________________________ #AllTheBooksJan Day 26: Longest series. The longest I've read so far this year because I still have the #LiveshipTradersTrilogy and #RainWildChronicles to get through.
