after TWO WHOLE YEARS I have FINALLY finished all of the main ROTE series (just bought the liveship set!!!) and since i have somehow never made a properly finished rendered drawing for this series i wanted to draw the fool when he was younger because he is simply a little guy

also shoutout to my friend who has never read ROTE for helping me create this image because I was ranting about fitzloved and they referenced the "there is no lgb in deltarune" image (robin hobb can pry agender fool and bigender spark from my cold dead hands):

[July 2022] I don’t even know where to begin with just how much I’m in love with Robin Hobb’s Realm of the Elderlings series. I read them over the course of a few years and it will just be forever my favourite series of all time. Nothing will ever beat it. Without rambling too much Fitz/The Fool is like the single best love story ever created and I won’t take any other opinions thank u
