It's taken a week, some teamwork with Mom and Dad, and some very cold fingers while it snowed around me, but I finished unpacking and setting up the balcony today. I have a wonderful new sofa from my parents. It was my birthday present from them (seven months early, so we can enjoy it while it's warm), and I cannot wait to sit out there and lounge around with a book (either one I'm reading, or one I'm writing.) And I've set up a new trellis for the #MorningGlory. Hopefully it'll get enough sun on the east side of the balcony. They were getting absolutely fried in the morning on the west side, which is why I replaced them with fake foliage last year. I know I'm being optimistic, and this is only #FoolsSpring, but it felt nice to hang the solar lights, lay down new carpet, touch up the chipped paint, and add new curtain lights and foliage in time for the #VernalEquinox. Welcome back, my little urban oasis! I can't wait for the return of #SunsetWine. Now I just have to wait for it to be consistently warm enough to start my #MeadowFlower, #Sunflower, and #MorningGlory seeds. . . . #balcony #balconydecor #balconyfurniture #balconylife #balconyoasis #writingspace #writingnook #readingnook #balconygarden (at Prince Edward Viaduct) https://www.instagram.com/p/CbV67h3JOW0/?utm_medium=tumblr
