thinking about true form cas right now and I just love the idea of his wings being the entire sky

like dont get me wrong I absolutely adore trueform!cas having bird wings. easily one of my favourite concepts

but can I raise you the idea of cas's wings being celestial? hes an angelic being and I love thinking about his wings holding the night sky in them.

you can see arms of the galaxy in them. theres constellations on them, stars in them, and they move when the sky moves. meteor showers when hes really happy about something. new constellations show up when he gets close with a person (i.e. sam, dean, and jack)

you could literally stargaze in castiel's wings and see his entire life in them

What do you think Jun-ho and Gi-hun's dynamic would be like in a no-games AU, where Gi-hun still has his s1 personality? :3

Sorry it took me a few days to get this ask! I wanted to sit with it for a bit.

The flavor of this junhun is very different than the flavor of junhun I typically draw and talk about (it definitely lends itself to more lighthearted tropes), but it's still very fun to me!

Without the weight of the games on their souls, there isn't any existential shit going on, or any guilt on Gi-hun's end about pursuing a relationship.

HOWEVER! I do think that Gi-hun might still have his reservations. Because Jun-ho is a Cop. In canon, I can see it as something he just overlooks in the grand scheme of his plan (plus, Jun-ho does Immediately quit his job to work with Gi-hun), but in this AU it's something that is far bigger of a deal to him. And with Gi-hun having his s1 personality, he's very Loud about it. So their first meetings and impressions are definitely Rough. I see it being similar in vibes to how Woo-seok and Jun-ho first interacted in s2.

As far as a relationship in a no-games AU would go: as I said before, it's definitely Lighter. The two of them bounce off each other well! Jun-ho occasionally likes to stoke the fire within Gi-hun, just to see what happens. The passion that Gi-hun has is definitely a draw for Jun-ho, just as it would be for something adjacent to canon.

But. You guys know the kind of person I am at this point. You know I'm still going to somehow incorporate angst into this.

Though this is a no-games AU, I am still imagining Gi-hun deep in debt, being hunted by loan sharks, unable to afford care for his sick & elderly mother, and struggling with a crippling gambling addiction on top of it all. Gi-hun is definitely still dealing with a Lot, and it's entirely possible for him to lash out at Jun-ho and distance himself.

I read a fic awhile ago on ao3 and can't find it again. It was a case fic where John and Sherlock were undercover as fiances because the serial killer they were after was killing prominent gay couples and each set of victims was killed the same way but each half of the couple was killed differently, if that makes sense. There was a lot of mutual pining and a happy get together at the end. Do you have any idea what this fic is and where I can find it?

Description:  Sherlock and John go undercover at Ravine Valley, a therapy centre for same-sex male couples in an investigation into a possible human trafficking ring. As they pose as a couple and fake their way through the therapy sessions for the sake of the case, it quickly becomes difficult to avoid discussing their very real issues. Set roughly six nine months after series 4.

Review: Just wow. I am continually blown away by the talent of this author, especially for this fic. I am always hesitant to read post s4 fics, but I have come to learn some they are some of the best in terms of emotional intimacy and communication, and this fic is definitely one of those. This series is in two parts. The first, the case fic with the fake relationship trope (don’t we love it), and the second installment is the planning of their wedding. But even that has some angst! Don’t worry, everything ends happy. They learn to communicate and work through their many problems with the help of the therapists and their own determination to not lose each other again. Rosie is not in the picture in this fic, she died before this story began, but the author acknowledges John’s emotional reaction and grief to the event in both installments that, ngl, nearly made me cry. This fic has a way of bringing all of our favorite tropes together and making it more sophisticated than you would think possible.
