Une étoile s´ éteint, Fur eLise, Lead and follow, exibitions, SK,AT, 2013-2014

V roku 2012 sme (Barbora Janáková, Jitka Košíková, Lenka Pástorová, Eva Priečková, Zuzana Žabková) na pôde Vysokej školy múzických umení započali tvorivú spoluprácu. Z večerov plných voľnej improvizácie vzniko pod vedením Zuzany Žabkovej niekoľko choreografií pre kameru. 

Une étoile s´éteint 

Hommage a Pina Bausch. Choreography consists of five favourites solos chosen by performers from Pina Bausch´s choreografies. The structure of creation is inspired by music of Anne- James Chaton who repeats name of Pina thirteen times in a very sharp beat and after he says the final sentence Une étoile s´éteint- The star is stalling . Fur eLise

This concept of Zuzana was part of her exibition in Pisztoryho palác in Bratislava during prestigious fine art prize of Oskár Čepan where Zuzana was one of four finalists. Whole exhibitions is called "For Rrose" and it is inspired by main plot of the Aldoux Huxley´s mystery novel (from the book with the same name) The Gioconda´s smile.

Lead and Follow

This piece was made in residency program in Kasárne kulturpark in Košice, Slovakia. Zuzana is playing with concept of who is leader and who is the follower in specific situations. Choreography was part of group exhibition in Kasárne, where we made a short happening according to current instalations. This movie is also part of the project Dance and Movie vol. 2 and it was presented during Nu Video Dance festival 2014
