“Everything go okay dropping the kids off?” Arya called from the kitchen as Gendry came through the front door. 

“Yeah,” he called back as he hung up his coat and toed off his boots, “Sansa asked Ella if she’d help her make cookies and Ell went right off with her. Barely gave me a kiss goodbye. Neddy ran straight for Callan’s room as soon as she opened the door too. I think I heard dinosaur noises as I was leaving but I’m not sure, I was distracted by Sansa giving me some serious eyebrow gymnastics as she shooed me out the door.”

Arya stepped out of the kitchen, large bowl of popcorn in one hand and a pair of beer bottles in the other, “I got a variety of produce emojis when I asked if she’d be willing to take the kids for the night. I don’t think she quite knew what we had in mind though.”

They settled on the couch and Arya hit play on the waiting movie, saying, “I still can’t believe you’ve never seen this before. Ladyhawke is a classic, Gendry!”

JJ is my friend Jason, he’s honestly the best person I have ever met (we bonded over our trauma) and he literally a beacon of light in my life atm cause I know that no matter what happens he will always have my back and be right there to help me, and I of course do the same for him. 

Like I could talk about him for hours because he’s so interesting and so calming to be around, I love him and would die for him (and his dog).

And no he is not my crush, I platonically love him but nothing more.
